Evening all, I am in the process of converting my garage in to a room. There is currently a gas meter in the garage and my builder has suggested I contact British Gas to see if I can have a meter in a usable room or does it need to be moved. British Gas’ web site is useless and I can’t find anything that says it’s ok to have a meter inside. Interested to know if anyone has been in this situating or indeed does have a gas meter inside a usable room. My room will be a study. Thanks in advance.
