I wear compression socks for varicose veins and am aware that it can be bad if they are too tight.
So ,when I see someone else pull up their tight leggins to just below the knee (for the sake of browning the legs ,I assume) I point out to them that this could be inadvisable.
I have said this a few times and my advice has been disregarded.
Do I have a point and does this
artificially extreme tightness of the leggings below the knee(they are folded and pulled up very tightly for perhaps an hour at a time) actually pose a risk?
My immediate worry is whether they would actually cause varicose veins but that is probably unlikely.
Can they be doing harm all the same?
