HRT Patches - sticky stuff!!

Does anyone else get sticky black marks on their skin, after wearing HRT patches? How do you get the off? I've tried scrubbing them off with a shower puff and also with a nail brush, to no avail. The only thing that I've found that works is acetone. Any other proven methods out there?

Alcohol will do it. Surgical spirits, methylated spirits, gin ?

Patches have grown out of favour lately. Ask you doctor for Oestrogel. Two to four pumps of gel spread over your inner thighs every day and no need to use sticky patches.

Patches are still much much better than tablets which should be avoided at all costs.

Yes, Liz46 is right. Baby oil does the trick. Put some on a bit of cotton wool and a good rub will get rid.
