Pain in the backside

Oh painful apart from medical creams this is what worked for me. Take some cotton wool, wet it with some cold water and roll it between your hand until it looks like a fairly thick sausage, put it in the freezer. When it's frozen place it between the cheeks of your buttocks.(not up) it shrinks the piles. Hope things improve. It's no joke is it ouch

Buy some anusol cream from the chemist and apply three times a day. Keep your motions soft by either adjusting your diet or taking a laxative such as lactulose. If things don't improve in a few days see your GP. Good luck. Hope it soon feels more comfortable.

What mum said- v important not to become constipated. I hope it clears up soon for you its miserable.

Activia yoghurt both eaten and applied to the area works so I have heard, have not tried it but if you are in pain anything is worth a go.DH was once told by a GP that the over the counter products thin the skin and just make piles a more likely outcome in the future! ?

Would an ice cube work? If you felt brave.

You can take pain killers too.

Could it be due to a change in diet?

I had extremely painful nerve trouble in my little toe & I found the only way I could get relief was pressing ice cubes and ice packs on the toe .
Unfortunately I gave myself frost bite which was as equally painful!
I would go gently round the derrière region

Squirting the shower at the relevant site helps bring brief comfort. "Keep the traffic friendly" is the best advice I had!!
