I had it a few years ago. I rubbed Voltarol in the area at night [you shouldn't have Voltarol on your skin if it's exposed to sunlight]. It did go away after a while but I was scared to eat for a long time afterwards and am very careful when I yawn. It started when I was trying to stop smoking and was chewing a lot of gum; one day I was chewing and I felt as if I'd dislocated my jaw, which was very scary at the time.

It only came on today, we'll give it a few days and if no improvement make a dental appointment. It's not giving him pain unless he tries to eat.
