I had no idea that barbecues of all types, even the little disposable ones, pose a threat of carbon monoxide poisoning, particularly if they are taken into a tent or porch or left under an open window, even after completely cold. It is recommended that one should take a CO monitor/alarm on camping trips,picnics or to festivals etc.
