Sertraline.

It did not suit me, but that is just me. There are lots of other similar drugs out there if that one does not suit - but it may very well do - it suits many people.

I tried two different ones before I got the right one for me, so don't give up on it if it does not seem right for you - there will be another one.

It worked well for me, I took it at night which minimised the side effects (nausea). Do hope it works for you too Falcon x

Hi Mishap - the pharmacist put me off by saying it could cause nausea and a dry mouth.

You just answered my question loopylou Did the nausea affect your day to day life - eating etc., That's a good tip about taking it at night.

The nausea was there but didn't stop me eating, just nagging in the background but taking it at night solved it. It does take upto a few weeks to kick in fully but I felt better within about a week. Don't remember having a dry mouth but I drink loads of water anyway.

It's horses for courses. People often try one or two of these drugs before hitting the right one for them, so don't give up if you find it is not ideal for you. But loopy and millions of others do just fine on sertraline, and the chances are that you will also.
