I have a corn on the ball of my foot, had it for sometime.
It's like walking on a stone when it's at it's worst and I use a file to give some relief and padded insoles in my shoes so manage reasonably well. But I would like to have it removed completely.
I have seen a chiropodist and she tried to remove it. It was so painful I couldn't put up with it. She said it was obviously attached to my nerves and there was nothing she could do other than offer me supports for my shoes.
When I asked if she could use a local anesthetic she said it wasn't possible.
I can't believe I can't get this removed.
I had thought about going to the GP for some advice but it seems such a small thing to take to the GP and use his time.
Any comments would be appreciated.
