Sunshine in my heart

Today I am so grateful for all I have in my life. I have a new baby grandson born on Sunday a wee 5.9 lbs but adorable.
My other son and his family have returned from aboard after 8 years,they have a girl 4 and a young baby. The house is alive again and so are we. A whole new way of life awaits that we could never have dreamed of.For the first time n a long time we are counting our blessings in glorious sunshine.

Thankyou all for your lovely replies. It’s not that often I can post good news. I have lost two siblings in the the last 6 weeks but I can see them reincarnated in these little ones. It’s onwards and upwards from now a new life is very uplifting. Many thanks for sharing our joy,we can only look forward and not back.

Bbnan, what lovely and uplifting news! I am very happy for you, and congratulations on the birth of your new grandson!

I mentioned just a while ago that the house was very quiet once the GC go home with their parents. While they are here we are run off our feet and the house is noisy and we are forever at their beck and call, which can be exhausting, but the silence, when they go home again, is deafening and we miss them.

I am glad you'll have all that liveliness in your lives once more. smile

I am so sorry for the loss of your siblings but your original post made me smile. I, too, had a grandchild born two days before yours. I am sure they will bring you such joy
