The new fence is up, hooray!
Now, I now some disapprove of growing plants up fences, but I want to!
I'm hoping to persuade Mr P to have a short trip out to the garden centre tomorrow, with the idea of getting a couple of plants while there is still some exposed soil to plant in.
Considering a pyrocanthus and a climbing hydrangea, but open to suggestions providing they are evergreen.

What about a Daphne Phoenix? The smell is heavenly and they're not a vigorous, invasive plant. Or a variegated climbing choisya? They also flower and smell lovely.
Harmonypuss, not recommending a callistemon which is indeed a bush.
