I have recently bought a few half size propagators to use for bedding plant seeds. They have a compost tray with drainage holes and a plain gravel tray beneath plus a ventilated lid.
I have never used any of these. I have sown Verbena Bonariensis and Nicotiana so far. They are indoors next to a south facing window, or could that get too hot? I am watering with a spray but I don't know in what position to put the top vent. Also should I water the gravel below?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
