My new all singing, all dancing microwave has the heating element in the top. Consequently, when using the convection mode for, say pies, I end up with a burnt crust and a soggy bottom.
A very soggy bottom.
A nearly raw bottom.
Apart from covering the dishes with foil for half the cooking time I can't think of any other way to cope.
Any hints on how to get properly cooked bottoms?
