Masterchef Australia

I have watched it in the past, and love the format of their version, also those from NZ and SA. It used to be on the Freeview channel Really, where is it these days LuckyDucky? I don't have Sky, so presume it is on there.

My DD and I sometimes watch it on one of the French channels but the French dubbing is so dire it makes us cringe.

I have watched it when I've been in Australia, in fact I asked a question of John Torode when he did a webchat recently, because I find it a bit raucous sometimes and think some of the judges comments are a bit cruel compared to the British one with Greg and John - with their expressions when someone is explaining what they are going to cook!

I did like the one where they went out into the tropical rainforest and, I think, cooked bush tucker, but it was years ago, can't remember what they cooked now.

Shysal - I watch it on Sky, though someone I know watched it 2 months ago on a laptop. If you're a whizz at IT good luck.

Also Aussie. Different format. Only A$25,000, no car or book deal as in Masterchef Australia. Also on sky.

Rosequartz: Do have a "deco". It's become interesting as world renown chefs produce their signature dish and the poor contestants have to produce it or go home.

I have noticed a young Aussie friend posting on FB about it - she is a very keen cook herself.

We haven't got SKY any more, can we get it on another digital channel?

I meant have a look at MKR. you could try Freeview. Our elder son doesn't own a TV but catches up on programmes like these on his
lap top.

Yep Rosequartz it's on Watch. Thanks for that. Don't know if that can be streamed to a lap top. Am definitely not IT savvy; I scrape by.

I really enjoy the Aussie version, much better than the UK one. More challenging and I like the way they all start at the same time and stay together while they stay in the competition.
