Corvid 19 Blood Plasma Trial

Hi GagaJo - unfortunately this is only if you have been tested and not just if you think you have had it.

It says "or have had symptoms of COVID-19" so no, you don't need to have been tested. I'll need to get back to my pre-virus weight though as currently under 50kg!

Is the plasma given to people that are seriously ill with the virus or is it to prevent someone catching it?

Heard about this today from DD as her boyfriend +ve and recovering and going to do it. She has tested negative but had mild symptoms so will offer.As will I.Not tested but ill 10 days and still washed out. I'm bang on the lower limit but if they will accept me that makes 3 of us.

Actually just checked the further questions section on that link.It says currently we are only taking plasma from those who have had a confirmed +ve test.At a later stage we may take from those who had symptoms but not tested .But not at this stage. So only DD s boyfriend can but hopefully there will be a good response.
