All suggestions for rounds or questions gratefully received!

I have a music round ready and a table round finding second lines of poems and their writers. And now my mind has gone
blank!

You could watch old episodes of Mastermind on Youtube for ideas. There are general knowledge questions on the second half of the programme.

Lyric round? Or is that too similar to the poem one? Maybe not if you can do it with intros, and ask for the first line of the song.

Photo round? Identify the following celebrities?

World leaders? Who is King/Queen/President of the following countries?

Currencies?

Dog breeds?

Try asking how many beans make five, or whether there are really numbers lower than 1. With luck, there'll be a couple of mathematicians in and everyone can have a quiet drink while they argue. grin

A popular table quiz is one with pictures of well known people, past and present.
We had one the other week with a black and white picture of a young boy. We racked our brains and eventually came up with Spike Milligan. It turned out to be Vladimir Putin. grin

We do an online Daily quiz each day, ten questions, there's often questions on the state capitals in the US, capital cities, the Balkans and the Stans are good places to start as are the order of British PMs and Presidents of the US. We also do Picle, the Times daily photo quiz. There's a random picture and you have to guess where it was taken and what year, points are awarded for how close in both cases.
