My DM had the duvet cover and sheets in the 70’s, that brought back some lovely memories. Thank you.

I would guess 1973. Simply because I bought a duvet cover that was very similar that year.

1975. I had one in pink then.

Definitely 70s. We had a very similar wallpaper back then too, long since gone thank goodness.

Mid-to-late 1960s. My ma-in-law had wallpaper in her living room that was this design. I know this because, as teenagers, I and my (then) boyfriend hung it for her (didn't do a bad job, either)!

Marks and Spencer….1975 mine was.

I might still have the pillowcases 😂

And modern bed linen won’t last nearly as long!

Do not think duvet's were around in the 1960's. They became the fashion in the seventies. I can remember trying to get some covers for these on my young children's beds, went round all of central London and there was nothing - just floral like this one. That would have been 1972 -73.

1972. I had one like that for a wedding present.

I think it was the mid 70s that I bought my boys their first duvets. The covers were floral in red and white very like the pattern of the OPs.

I've got memories of a duvet like this ,but in mauve shades.
I've always loved cream or white broderie anglaise and gave all my brightly coloured linen away.
The quality was amazing though .

I'm sure I remember making beds with these covers on, but if they didn't "come out" until the 70s, then I would have been too young to be working.
Perhaps we had similar sheets when I was a child.

Probably mid to late 1970s as one daughter had the pink version for her single bed. Marks and Sparks.
