This sounds more like superstition, and sorcery than anything religious. Yes, I pray to St Anthony when I lose things, but I think by quoting this mantra, it sets off a process in my mind that triggers memories of where I have left the object rather than being any divine inspiration - and i say that as someone who is still a catholic - sort of.

The patron saint of lost causes, she’s helped all three of my children, they have no idea though😉

My go to has always been St Francis, especially if it's a problem with animals. I have heard it suggested that we should really pray to newer saints because the well known ones are so overworked.

Amazon sell statues of St Joseph for that purpose !
