Well, we got a bit bruised and battered on the Kent Coat. The lightning was so constant at around 11pm it was like sitting in the daylight. I lost my electric for just a few minutes and my Sky signal for an hour or so.
Some of my flowering shrubs are crushed and sad looking, but compared to others around here I was lucky. Just down the road from me a chap was having to sit on his car roof and wait to be rescued.
Probably one of the most violent and dramatic storms I've ever seen anywhere.
All looks calm this morning, long may it continue!
Bereavement/elderly parent with dementia
Alphalock - like wordle but harder!
Am I being taken for granted, or is this just what being a grandparent is today?
