On holiday last week, I bought some C*******s cards. I hardly dare to write this but my excuse is that I was in a gift shop benefitting a small charitable enterprise. I have put them away and will not think about them again until mid December.
I have just picked up today's post from the mat and found a colourful holiday brochure emblazoned with the legend Early 2026 Season Preview
Nooooooo! Please make it stop. I haven't finished enjoying today yet!

We have brochures for 2027 around here. Aaarrrggh. Most of the 2026 stuff is already sold out apparently. Aussies travel a lot it seems.

Why not? because we haven’t even got to June yet and you’re already thinking about December , oh my goodness can’t bear to hear the C word The thought will bring me out on a hot sweat

I used to volunteer in a seaside RNLI gift shop and lost count of the number of people who said to me they always buy their Christmas cards there whilst on their summer holiday. It seems like a bit of a tradition for lots of people.

Sarnia we're planning a family holiday in August 2027 to celebrate our Golden Wedding.
Nothing booked yet as it's too early for the apartments I want, but I've been doing my research!
