My DGD loves children, is a primary school teacher and loves every moment in the classroom. There is nothing in the world she has wanted more than to get married and have children since she was a little girl.
At 25 she has never even had a first kiss and is very down about it as most of her closest friends have children, all have moved out— which she can’t get afford to do alone despite careful saving. She is still very young of course but she feels that it will never happen for her, particularly as she watches her younger siblings move out with their partners.
I feel it is just so unfair for her, because she is so very lovely. I took a big part in raising her as my DD is quite troubled and I worry that I’ve raised her to be too old fashioned
