I might be going to Finland, so useless fact from me is:
Finland has a Burger King (or poss Macdonalds) with a sauna!

I agree - The Beachboys were the sound of my youth - played all the time at the bowling alley.

I think I recently read that Brian Wilson had been diagnosed with dementia.

I should think the Beach Boys along with the Beatles were the sound track to many of our generation
Love both.

I loved the Beach Boys!

Finland has the most heavy metal bands per capita.

Presumably you go in the sauna, then the cold plunge pool then you're hungry and eat in the café!!

There are 187,888 lakes in Finland

And, going back to the Beach Boys, there are some lovely beaches 😃

My favourite band. I missed a lecture at Exeter Uni to come up and see them in Bristol. It was fantastic. I don’t care if they surfed or not. I loved their music. Still do.

That never occurred to me before.

A scampo is a langoustine (lobster family) (I didn't know that either) but scampo is Italian for prawn (shrimp family).
