Good morning from a dry, chilly Bristol. I hope the polar winds have died down. Yes, Mick, the days are getting longer; just over a month for the clocks to go forward too!
While fiddling through a plastic folder for appliqué patterns, I was thrilled to find my “lost” signet ring. About a fortnight ago, it went awol. I searched high and low for it, and decided that I wasn’t going to find it. Ever. It must have fallen off at a previous rummage. The trouble is that my fingers shrink in winter and swell in summer, so there rarely is a right fitting…
Today, I’m going into town for various things, including having my glasses adjusted.
Later, I’ll start the appliqué cushion covers. This first one is orange tulips on unbleached calico.
May today bring relief to those in pain and/or distress, including urms, baggs, kalu, marydoll and the ones I have missed. Carpe diem, Carpe horam 🦩🦩🦩🦩
