They're like vultures. I don't buy newspapers or read them online. I don't believe half of what they say and probably a lot of what they do say is false. Even the news on tv is no doubt hyped up to make things worse than what they are.

I would hate that level of intrusion and don't know how anyone does that job. I do feel sorry for those in the public eye who are hounded by these people.

Well I would not know about that as I am not into emojis, memes and all that nonsense. I leave that to the mainstream social media which I rarely (if ever) read.

Since ITV are running an "investigation" it seems to me a more creative way than simply responding that one cannot comment on a case which is "under investigation".

Although I'm against the press hounding people on their doorstep, I have little sympathy for Frizell. I found his response arrogant. This is the man who said he was fed up cleaning up Schofield's mess in the past. He comes across as someone who thinks he is untouchable. That remains to be seen.

i am not of the generation to use this code, but it was obvious to me what it meant.
maybe i am used to textual analysis, much of that for me anyway was guesswork/ hypothetical until further confirmation.
like reading MN; after a while you can discern some dodgy posts.
by the way, the aubergine alludes to mr pornstar pretensions rather than as in grey's anatomy.

As I said previously, I really dislike the takeover of the language, everyday words taken to mean something with innuendo.

Anyone using an 🍆 must have delusions of grandeur.

I will never look at an aubergine in the same way again and as Callistemon says 'delusions of grandeur' or a very strong magnifying glass.

In 2012 I took my GD to London. Outside parliament where you see TV reporters, we were accosted by a skye reporter, who showed us a picture of Price Harry at party where many of the partygoers were skinny dipping. She asked us what we thought of the photo expecting a shock/ horror type of response. We just said he was a young man doing what other young men do, enjoying himself. She went off in a huff and asked another group of people and got a similar response.
Looking back, I think the photo was a set up. where was the camera and who was using it?
My OH has also been the subject of a distorted report, deliberately drawing a wrong conclusion.
I am not a fan of reporters. They seem to have their own agenda .
