We had an 80th party booked at our venue for 9th January for 50+. . So many have said however that they don’t want to attend because of the risk that the party bookers have cancelled until a later date to be agreed.

I am even unsure about concert tickets we have for 24th February!

We cancelled so many events and arrangements before Christmas, I wouldn’t be comfortable at such a large party and would give apologies.

No, no, no. The UK yesterday had over 200,000 cases of Covid. My ex & his family went to a wedding a week ago. 7 of them now have Covid. Thank god his 90 year old FIL didn't get it.

You may find too many of them unwilling to go for health reasons, which would reduce the numbers considerably.

No, on another note and just with Gagajo's post. People I know who acquired Covid, were at weddings. It is a shame for people but I think at the moment large numbers of people are not a good idea.

I’d hang fire. I’m happy to be out & about in bars/restaurants at present but they have small attendees socially distanced.

We are attending a family funeral on Thursday. Himself reminded me earlier today ‘no hugs and kisses’. Sad, as I haven’t seen some of these people in ever such a long time, but sensible.
