I have been clobbered by the failing energy companies and OffGem has allocated me to EDF. This happened weeks ago and, apart from a brief email to tell me that I am with them I have heard nothing from EDF. I have tried ringing them and just get a message saying they are dealing with these customers and will be in touch with a contract soon.
That is all very well - I am getting supply - but I have absolutely no idea what I am paying for it; and presumably when that info does arrive I will have no choice but to pay it, however high it might be.
I have been given no information about what to do if I do not want EDF - I cannot change companies till I get the EDF contract apparently and I do not know how long I might then have to change.
I also have credit of £120+ which I am assured is protected, but do not know "where" it is at present.
Anyone else in this boat, or have experience of EDF?
