Q : Small performing group (4)

I'm 100% sure that the word is -r-m
I have tried crosswordsolver and google and am still stumped.
Can anyone put me out of my misery please.

The 'M' was from tomorrow I had a senior moment and for some reason put two 'm' instead or two 'r' otherwise I would have got trio smile

Danword is my favourite if I am really stuck. I think he is American but seems to do all the British crosswords and Pitcherwits.A good brain.
