Good morning Mick and all from a muggy Glasgow, where it's already 18°C.
Glad to see you are home safely, Mick.
I had a terrible night's sleep, don't know where I'm going to find the energy to look after DGD today.
Yesterday was quite stressful. My recently bereaved sister in law left London at 8am yesterday and it took her twelve hours to get home to Glasgow, as the power lines were down on the West Coast line and all the trains were stuck at Preston. At one point the police were involved as everyone was getting so frustrated.
No fun in yesterday's heat. At one point, we thought we were going to have to drive south to get her. It took four trains and a taxi to get home.
A day for the garden I think! Hairdresser's later, so Papa will be in charge and I will chill out!
.
Enjoy your day, whatever your plans.
