Good Morning Everyone,
I have woken up to a grey and wet start here in Brackley , I had plans if the weather had been more better to do cemetery things , parents graves and fresh flowers.
But another day.
Quiet day in.

Good Morning Wednesday
(50 Posts)Morning Mick, morning all!
I have woken to the same mick. Not sure what we are doing this morning but I'm doing the school run in Derbg this afternoon.
Enjoy your days everyone.
Good Morning everyone.
Grey and raining with very wet windows on Severnside.
A home work day for me with a walk to the mail box with my umbrella ☔️
I hope you all have a lovely day ?
Good morning everyone.
Raining in Kent too and forecast for most of the day.
No gardening work for DH, don't know what we'll do instead.
Morning Mick, morning All. Sharing the grey skies and rain in our corner of Somerset. Early hospital appointment for me so a need to be up and out. Not sure how the rest of the day will be as our planned trip to some gardens (it’s my birthday) just won’t work in the rain, so will look forward to that on another day. Hope Wednesday is kind to everyone.
Morning all.
Same wet and gloomy weather on the south coast. Rather matches how I am feeling with a sore throat and asthma playing up. A quiet day for me to recover.
Good Morning from a very rainy Black Country. A stay at home day I think, catch up with a few admin jobs and give my friend a call who came back from California last week.
Had a lovely lunch out yesterday with Mum and her two sisters. Good to catch up on family news.
Today the Tiler will be in to grout tiling in Kitchen, then we are almost done! Just electrics sockets and switches to install.
Wishing everyone a pleasant day.
Good morning from rainy Colchester. May have to take the bus into town for weekly coffee meetup instead of walking.
Good Morning from a very dull and wet Fife. Early start today as fencer is due at 8 a.m. to start job on new driveway fencing, not sure if he will work in rain which is forecast, will wait and see. Very unsettled sleep last night so feeling somewhat tired. Have both DGS's today as well, going to be in for a very busy day. Hope today is good to everyone despite weather.
Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. It's due to rain here later and I have the Dentist.
My friend left yesterday after a very cold few days. She reminded me it was warmer in February. We had a nice catchup.
Hoping everyone has a good day.
Good morning from rainy north east.work then home got day off tomorrow but dh has diabetes appointment so will go with him then very rainy here.
Morning Mick and All.
Happy Birthday Corner ? sorry it’s raining and grey on your special day. May is usually a good month for weather.
It’s pretty wet and grey here in South Bucks but the forecast is good for the weekend when we have our big Fete in the Park.
Off to the Garden Centre for some fat balls as the little blue tit is bombing backwards and forwards to feed it’s baby and there is hardly any left.
Morning All
Wet and chilly here in the north of Norfolk. DH is pleased, his new hedging was suffering and needs the rain.
I’m off to stand in a darkened room at our local NT stately pile and chat to a lot of lovely visitors.
Good morning all from a very wet Northampton.
But of general tidying this morning, change the bed etc.
Errol Flynn cinema this afternoon to see 'The Keeper', a film about the German POW who became a professional football player for, I think, Man Utd in the 1950s. DH would have loved it, so going to see it for him! Wine may be taken....
Bit of shopping in town afterwards.
Good morning from a very wet Birmingham. I have a friend coming for lunch, so must go shopping for something nice, and writing group this evening, but apart from those two lovely things I must do some paperwork! I procrastinate, so I have an in tray full of things to be dealt with.
Good morning from a damp and drizzly south east London.
Happy Birthday Corner!
Good morning from a dreich, grey Aberdeenshire...it's been damp during the night and now isn't quite raining. The washing's been out since yesterday so will bring it in in batches to put in the drier, ready for a mega iron.
Oncology visit yesterday was like the curate's egg...good in parts as the original tumour has stabilised, but another has broken out and it looks like another six months of chemo. BUMMERS!!! Anyway, I'm a tough old bird and you don't get rid of me that easily. I shall continue to grow old disgracefully....I hope!
Have a good day everyone.
Morning Mick and everyone. Same here in Kent wet cold not nice. So housework today. Went to Womens Guild yesterday people were lovely but not for me unfortunately. All sitting in chairs in rows one behind the other so not a lot of communication only when you stood in line for tea. Never mind keep searching for the right place. Anyway hope you are all well and have a good day whatever the weather.
Good Morning all.
Very wet here on S Wales coast, rain pelting against the windows all night.
DH is alright following his root canal work yesterday, still a quiet day in prospect for us. We are dog sitting though, but I don't think she'll relish a walk in the wet.
Happy birthday Corner ?
Good morning from east London, a dull and wet one. Thankfully the dome is still up so we can still play tennis this morning. School pick up later and a late appointment with the consultant to review how the thumb injection worked.
Oldgaijin, like your fighting attitude, don’t let the b——r get you down (and be very kind to yourself).
God morning, Michael and all GNs. Wet here in South Yorkshire too, but we got all the gardening done yesterday. I have to go for an X-ray on my hip this morning, then will call into John Lewis on the way home to buy a gift for GS, whose latest school report was excellent. Corner I hope you have a lovely birthday in spite of the weather!
Good morning All x
What a miserable day ! It looks as though it's in for the day as well
Needless to say I won't be going far----or doing much either. I hope there's a decent film on " Talking Pictures ".
Bless you Oldgaijin, I admire you're positivity you will keep going, good for you. x
I hope everyone else is okay or on the mend from illness.
Wet here too! Good morning everyone from South Manchester where I got a phone call just after 7am asking if my son in law could pick me up so that I could sit with out 6y old grandson who isn’t feeling well today. I’m over there now, he looks peaky but happy sat watching Tom & Jerry cartoons with grandma.
I have book club this evening - we all read The Salt Path.
Happy birthday to you corner and so sorry oldgaijin at your rotten news. You must be floored by the news.
Hope Wednesday is kind to us all whether we have plans or none. x
Good morning from N Bucks☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️
I was afraid this would happen as soon as my peonies looked about to flower. Same every year
Not a lot on today and fortunately nothing that can be affected by the weather, Lit class this afternoon “Bring Up The Bodies” which I have loved.
It was slightly surreal in a sitcom sort of way last week. We are meeting in church rooms while our centre is being extended and the title of last week’s session was up on the door (as there are a few different classes going on ).
Unfortunately there was also a funeral in the main bit of the church and the funeral tea afterwards was held in the next door room to us. . What anybody thought of Bring Up the Bodies, I’d rather not imagine.
Wishing you all a pleasant day
oldgaijin - sorry to hear but love your tenacity. You are so right. Take care.
