Good Morning Everyone,
Its bright with a clear sky but cold here in Brackley this morning.
I got my mystery weekend at Easter clues in the post yesterday, I managed to work out the destination with a mixture of clues and the pick up order of the coach.

I think the trip is southbound to Bournemouth, but I will say more when I return from the mystery Easter break which is a week next weekend.

My usual jaunt on the buses to Buckingham and Bicester today.

Mick

Good morning Mick and all to follow.A frosty start in Shropshire today.
Boiler repair this morning also DGD coming for the day.She is not having her usual Thursday sleepover as she has a farewell party for her little friend who is leaving to live in New Zealand. They are only 3 but have known each other all their little lives, they will miss each other a lot.
Well done on deciphering the clues Mick.Hope the weather is good for your trip.A sunny weekend inBournemouth would be lovely.

Good morning everyone from Malaga. I have been sat on our balcony for half an hour, in the dark (so dark here till 8am!) with a cuppa watching an enormous cruise ship sail slowly past, all lit up. 3 tiers of decks. Malaga port will be busy with thousands of visitors spilling out today! I think Thursdays and Sundays are the busiest days in the high season.

No particular plans for us today. Hope everybody has a good Thursday whatever your plans. x

Good morning from a chilly north Leicestershire.

Hospital visit for DH this morning and Sainsbury's shop for me this afternoon if we get back in time.

Well done on solving the clues Mick.

Good morning Mick. Well done on solving the mystery clues; sounds like a nice way to spend Easter weekend.

Sunny but frosty at the moment in Cheshire and it's looking like another beautiful day here when it warms up. Been awake since noisy neighbours woke me at 3.30 so decided to get up. Got a busy day today too. Not pleased! On a brighter note the decorator will finish today, so everywhere looks all fresh and bright. The toughest part of course is paying the bill. shock

Have a good day everyone.

Good Morning all.

Sunny, dry and frosty on Severnside.
Shopping and gardening for me today. I haven’t been to Bournemouth for a while. They used to have a tethered balloon to go up in.

I hope everyone has a good day ?

NannyJan53 Thu 11-Apr-19 07:14:58

Good Morning from a frosty Black Country.

U3A walk this morning, then this afternoon DGD's Easter service at school. Then onto Mums as she is cooking us dinner as we still have no Oven.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all. Beautiful sunny morning again on S Welsh coast, not a cloud in the sky like yesterday.
I feel for your GD Susan a friend of mine emigrated to Australia when we were in infants school. We always kept in touch though I missed her a lot. She came back to visit her grandparents when in her early twenties and married a Welshman. She lives about 30 miles away now.

Well done on your sleuthing skills Mick, your weekend sounds like good fun. Have a good day all.

Grammaretto Thu 11-Apr-19 07:22:49

Good morning Mick and all from the Scottish Borders. Sunny again today but cold.
We had a surprise visit from an old friend yesterday and drank too much wine.
Have a good day everyone.

Good Morning to all and to those who follow. It’s another sunny start here in Fife. It was beautiful yesterday so hopefully it will be the same today. Off for col/cut this morning so that will take care of Morning, , shopping for food this afternoon. Urmonstangran sounds lovely. Wishing everyone a pleasant day.

Good morning Mick and all. It's a beautiful sunny, but frosty day here in Glasgow.

That must have been fun, working out the destination, Mick. I do like a good puzzle.

Rather tired this morning, after an extremely enjoyable day at the coast yesterday. There were only two people in the water, DDG and myself in our wellies, DH was terrified I would fall in as DGD headed for the rocks. grin

We are off out to lunch, curtesy of DD and her partner. DH is a little apprehensive, as he doesn't "do" Greek food. I'm looking forward to it, as it means not having to cook dinner this evening.

Enjoy your day, everyone.

Good morning Mick and All.

A beautiful sunny day in South Bucks.

Making spag Bol for the descending troops next week as well as a menu of food and activities to keep a 6 and 8 year old happy for the week.

I love Bournemouth I have been skinny dipping there, but I was only 3 ?

Good morning all. It's a lovely bright sunny day in Northampton, but very frosty. Just been out to put gone over flowers in the garden bin, and the lid is frozen shut!
Had my blood pressure check yesterday; nurse had to do it three times before she got a good reading, and then she thought I might as well have a blood test as well while I was there.
Then into town to bank and get a few odds and ends for my holidays.
Was going to get the front grass cut this morning but it's very frosty, so will do a bit of sorting through paperwork instead.
Going to see elder DGD dancing in a show this afternoon, which I shall enjoy.
Your Easter weekend sounds good Mick, love Bournemouth.
Have a nice day everyone.

NanKate Thu 11-Apr-19 07:37:05

Morning Mary I wonder if you will have some of the delicious vine leaves stuffed with rice and spices ? Enjoy.

Morning All

Cold here again in the north of Norfolk. But there are glimpses of blue sky so not a bad day.

I’m off to do a stint at our local stately pile. Too cold for all but the hardy at the beach so it’ll be full of families and excited children enjoying the treasure trails. Love it!

Pittcity Thu 11-Apr-19 07:44:39

Good morning from chilly Colchester. Going to be dry I think so will get the grass cut while waiting in for deliveries.

Willow10 Thu 11-Apr-19 07:51:12

Good morning all. No frost in E. Northants thankfully. Another bad night with heavy cold, but hopefully the worst few days are coming to an end. Desperately in need of some fresh air so may do a trip to the garden centre later. In need of some fresh plants for my barrel pond. Well done working out the clues Mick.

dragonfly46 Thu 11-Apr-19 07:54:35

Good morning, as kitty said it is very cold here in Leicestershire.
Meeting friends for coffee then I must go and see my mum. I am afraid I haven’t been for a week. When I last went with a Mother’s Day card she just threw it on the floor. She has nothing to say to me. Dementia is a cruel disease.

gillybob Thu 11-Apr-19 07:55:42

Good morning from the NE coast where we have a bright and sunny but very cold start to the day.

Childcare for me this morning after an overnight but then off to “that place” for what will no doubt be a VERY late finish. It’s the first payroll of the new tax year which means ending the last one, new pension contributions and all the rest.......what a thrilling day ahead. Yuk.

My throat and chest are still bothering me but I think I slept a bit better (still having epic dreams though) .

I can’t remember the last time I had a Greek meal in a Greek restaurant Marydoll if your DH doesn’t fancy it perhaps I could take his place ? wink I do often make Stiffado at home as it’s my DH’s favourite . Anyway I hope you enjoy it.

Have a good Thursday everyone.....roll on Friday x

Harris27 Thu 11-Apr-19 08:10:12

harrigran Thu 11-Apr-19 08:42:49

Good morning, lovely sunny start but it is very cold.
No appointments today and DH has already got the washer on.
No word from GD on holiday in Spain, she must be enjoying her holiday.

Mapleleaf Thu 11-Apr-19 08:56:04

Good morning,

A lovely bright, but still chilly morning here in South Yorkshire.

Today, the decorator should be finished, so then the work of putting everything back will begin. It’s already looking so much brighter and fresher, I’m very pleased with how it’s coming along. He has been very thorough, and obviously takes pride in doing a job well.

Well done on solving your clues Mick. Hope you have a lovely trip, and that the weather will be kind - you’ve another week for it to warm up a bit, so fingers crossed.

A lazy day in store again, as I can’t really crack on with things whilst the house is still upside down. Looking forward to being able to get out and about a bit more, too! ?

Hope you all have a good day.

Justme67 Thu 11-Apr-19 08:57:49

Good morning to you all, a cloudless blue sky on the Bognor Regis sea-front, probably a little cold though. Gardener coming today to help sort out a very sorry looking plot. Enjoy your days
