Good Morning Everyone,
Its bright with a clear sky but cold here in Brackley this morning.
I got my mystery weekend at Easter clues in the post yesterday, I managed to work out the destination with a mixture of clues and the pick up order of the coach.

I think the trip is southbound to Bournemouth, but I will say more when I return from the mystery Easter break which is a week next weekend.

My usual jaunt on the buses to Buckingham and Bicester today.

Mick

Good morning to everyone. Hoping your day goes well. Reading all todays threads and trying to keep busy.
We had to take out little 10yo dog to the vet,I noticed a small growth between his tiny top teeth. They are going to remove it. Oh,the house feels so empty.

I tell you what Kalu you can share if its baby, fluffy- lamb (which I won't eat) and I'll share if its beef stiffado (which I will) grin

I think the trip is southbound to Bournemouth
Good Evening Mick; Have a nice time if you get to Bournemouth and could you please check out the number of beige cardis whilst you are there.! grin They'll probably still be in season because I remember some very freezing Easters! Brrr! Unless of course they aren't visible under Anoraks or other Winter-type protective apparel! grin

Good morning from another sunny but chilly day in Perthshire

Unfortunately, any decent spells of good weather calls for getting as much of the outside stuff done while I get the chance. Power washing to do and wrought iron fencing needs a fresh coat of paint.

Oh lucky you Marydoll. I love Greek food, lamb that just falls off the bone...my mouth is watering. DH and I have been to a particularly good Greek restaurant in the West End. Bon appétit.

Erm, excuse me Gilly sorry to push in front for a share of Marydoll’s meal but I live nearest ?. Soon be Friday?

Hope the day goes well for all.

Morning all! Still in the office (aka bed grin) with phones and diary! We are getting a second viewing here and I have booked another down in Suffolk. It is cold here in Leicester but I hope to cut the grass and do the last bit of weeding and finish the ironing too. Ned to get up and get going!

Gagagran Thu 11-Apr-19 09:54:07

Morning everyone! Late to the party this morning but we have done the supermarket shop, had breakfast on return and read the paper.

I have a dental appointment at 12 noon today for another filling and for him to examine the site of the surgical extraction which is not completely healed over just yet.

Should I ask him about the badly bloodshot eye I woke up with this morning? It's been scratchy for about a week but looks a bit of a mess now, though not a scratchy as it was.
Probably won't but might pop into the GP surgery to see if they could have a look and see if I need a prescription.

Everyone sounds to have a busy day ahead so hope it is a good one! It's sunny and clear after a frosty start here on the south coast. sunshine

Good morning from a dull, grey Aberdeenshire...what a change from yesterday, which turned out glorious after the haar burned off.
Had a rotten night with pain in my side...I see the oncologist on Monday so I hope he can offer advice.
I hope it's not more chemo, which is rough on the kidneys. The mutt will probably get a short walk but, at the moment, is happy to curl up beside me. He has forgiven the indignity of the bath!
Have a good day everyone.

Goodmorning Mick and all. Granddaughter's 4th Birthday today - going over this evening for a small family party ???xx

Nana3 Thu 11-Apr-19 09:34:23

Good morning all. I've been busy taking care of dgc for 2 weeks during the school holidays, yesterday we had a day at the beach. It was lovely to see so many families enjoying the sunshine.
Sunny again in Lancashire but I will be mostly resting, I have a cold beginning.
Hope you all have a good day.

Good morning All x
Another lovely day here by the sea, the squawking seagulls are drowning out the news, but I don't mind.

Laptop was doing some " automatic disc repairing " so I cleaned the windows and hoovered around. About an hour in all but at least it gave me chance to tidy up while waiting.

I love the thought of Mick's mystery tour especially in that area of the country. I've been to lots of lovely places down South by coach touring.I do miss my friend for these outings.

I must buy another shredder for all the paperwork that's mounted up. I don't know where it all comes from. Apart from that I'll just make the most of this lovely weather even though I've still got two jumpers on !

Hope you all enjoy your day.

Good morning Auntyflo and all x

Think more rain on the way for Powys and it’s so cold.

Have therapy today.

Hope everyone has a good day x

Good morning to you all, a cloudless blue sky on the Bognor Regis sea-front, probably a little cold though. Gardener coming today to help sort out a very sorry looking plot. Enjoy your days

Mapleleaf Thu 11-Apr-19 08:56:04

Good morning,

A lovely bright, but still chilly morning here in South Yorkshire.

Today, the decorator should be finished, so then the work of putting everything back will begin. It’s already looking so much brighter and fresher, I’m very pleased with how it’s coming along. He has been very thorough, and obviously takes pride in doing a job well.

Well done on solving your clues Mick. Hope you have a lovely trip, and that the weather will be kind - you’ve another week for it to warm up a bit, so fingers crossed.

A lazy day in store again, as I can’t really crack on with things whilst the house is still upside down. Looking forward to being able to get out and about a bit more, too! ?

Hope you all have a good day.

harrigran Thu 11-Apr-19 08:42:49

Good morning, lovely sunny start but it is very cold.
No appointments today and DH has already got the washer on.
No word from GD on holiday in Spain, she must be enjoying her holiday.

Harris27 Thu 11-Apr-19 08:12:16

Meant to say I'm thinking of you dragonfly46 two weeks since mam died and can agree with you cruel disease. You have time for yourself mind X

Harris27 Thu 11-Apr-19 08:10:12

Good morning from a chilly NE. Off today and having a day to myself I need shoes for a christening and present and will enjoy a wander around the shops. Do need food shop and mini house clean!!?Enjoy all sounds like fun mick!

gillybob Thu 11-Apr-19 07:55:42

Good morning from the NE coast where we have a bright and sunny but very cold start to the day.

Childcare for me this morning after an overnight but then off to “that place” for what will no doubt be a VERY late finish. It’s the first payroll of the new tax year which means ending the last one, new pension contributions and all the rest.......what a thrilling day ahead. Yuk.

My throat and chest are still bothering me but I think I slept a bit better (still having epic dreams though) .

I can’t remember the last time I had a Greek meal in a Greek restaurant Marydoll if your DH doesn’t fancy it perhaps I could take his place ? wink I do often make Stiffado at home as it’s my DH’s favourite . Anyway I hope you enjoy it.

Have a good Thursday everyone.....roll on Friday x

dragonfly46 Thu 11-Apr-19 07:54:35

Good morning, as kitty said it is very cold here in Leicestershire.
Meeting friends for coffee then I must go and see my mum. I am afraid I haven’t been for a week. When I last went with a Mother’s Day card she just threw it on the floor. She has nothing to say to me. Dementia is a cruel disease.

Willow10 Thu 11-Apr-19 07:51:12

Good morning all. No frost in E. Northants thankfully. Another bad night with heavy cold, but hopefully the worst few days are coming to an end. Desperately in need of some fresh air so may do a trip to the garden centre later. In need of some fresh plants for my barrel pond. Well done working out the clues Mick.

Pittcity Thu 11-Apr-19 07:44:39

Good morning from chilly Colchester. Going to be dry I think so will get the grass cut while waiting in for deliveries.

NfkDumpling Thu 11-Apr-19 07:39:14

Morning All

Cold here again in the north of Norfolk. But there are glimpses of blue sky so not a bad day.

I’m off to do a stint at our local stately pile. Too cold for all but the hardy at the beach so it’ll be full of families and excited children enjoying the treasure trails. Love it!

NanKate Thu 11-Apr-19 07:37:05

Morning Mary I wonder if you will have some of the delicious vine leaves stuffed with rice and spices ? Enjoy.

BlueSapphire Thu 11-Apr-19 07:36:13

Good morning all. It's a lovely bright sunny day in Northampton, but very frosty. Just been out to put gone over flowers in the garden bin, and the lid is frozen shut!
Had my blood pressure check yesterday; nurse had to do it three times before she got a good reading, and then she thought I might as well have a blood test as well while I was there.
Then into town to bank and get a few odds and ends for my holidays.
Was going to get the front grass cut this morning but it's very frosty, so will do a bit of sorting through paperwork instead.
Going to see elder DGD dancing in a show this afternoon, which I shall enjoy.
Your Easter weekend sounds good Mick, love Bournemouth.
Have a nice day everyone.

NanKate Thu 11-Apr-19 07:35:01

Good morning Mick and All.

A beautiful sunny day in South Bucks.

Making spag Bol for the descending troops next week as well as a menu of food and activities to keep a 6 and 8 year old happy for the week.

I love Bournemouth I have been skinny dipping there, but I was only 3 ?
