Good Morning Mick, Cheryl and everyone

It's a bit dull and chilly here on the south coast but we are forecast a sunny day so should be a dry one after a lot of rain yesterday.

I have a hair appointment this morning and it's choir tonight. We are ironing out the difficult bits in our concert programme as it creeps ever nearer (18 May). DH is out with his cycle club and DGD has asked him for a lift from the station at 5.30pm. He is always willing to help her.

Hope the day is a good one for us all and especial good luck today Cheryl - you must be delighted!

It's good to see a new poster on this thread.

We have DGD again this morning, as the schools are closed for holidays, these teachers (I was one) have too many holidays!!1 .

We plan to take her Doon the watter, to stock up on our favourite pies.
I shall take my wellies and go for a paddle with her. She will be in her element!

DiL has two medical exams today, her last along the long road to being a Consultant. So a nervous day in our house.

Good morning all; cloudy and grey in Northampton today.
Bit of washing to do, refill the kitchen freezer as I defrosted it yesterday and all the stuff is in the big chest freezer in the garage, then blood pressure check at doctors.
Have chipped a filling, but can't get an appointment at the dentist till next month. Hope my tooth holds out till then!
Into town for a bit of shopping for my holiday next week.

Good morning from the NE coast. It’s a dull start but I’m off to “that place” anyway. Older DGC went home last night (they will be back tomorrow tea time) 2 down with a tummy bug, one still to go..... I’ve woke up with a horrible sore throat (you know the kind that feels like you have razors in your throat) and a bad chest (again) only just got rid of one......grrrr.

Good morning from chilly Shropshire,even chillier in our house as the fan on the boiler went yesterday?new one being fitted tomorrow??
We are off to Stafford today to look after little B as our daughter is unwell,she has a medical condition which she copes with amazingly but sometimes like now needs to rest and have extra treatment.Son in law is a teacher so he breaks up on Friday so will be at home with them for the next couple of weeks.

It’s a chilly one here this morning - I nipped out to the postbox a little while ago and there’s a definite frost in the air. Nice and warm when I got back in though, as the heating had kicked in.

Yes ! sunshine at last here in Kent. It is windy and not too warm though.
Driving DH to and from gardening jobs, inbetween which I will be doing housework and watching some catch up TV as I have the house to myself Wednesdays.

Good morning from rainy San Sebastián. I’ve had my morning tea watching some hardy souls swimming in the sea below my balcony. What a beautiful place to wake up in on my birthday!

Blue sky with fluffy clouds here in Letchworth this morning brings the hopeful promise of a sunny day. Off to our local library this morning for an historical talk then home to mow the front lawn, i did the back and side yesterday evening.Planning on getting down on my knees to do some much needed weeding too if my aches and pains allow.Its such a shame to waste any good weather. Good morning from east London. Looking bright outside at the moment. GD woke grumpy but has now picked up - claimed she’d been trapped in her bed by the pillow. Off to tennis this morning, plan at some point to drop a cake off to a former colleague I haven’t seen for a while and then pack for my trip tomorrow.
