And why do supermarkets now rarely sell loose potatoes? They're pre-packaged in plastic more and more, despite campaigns to get rid of one time use plastic! We are quite capable of choosing our own spuds and putting them in a bag! Preferably paper!
And why do we have to buy small bottles of liquid hand soap, and throw away yet another one time use dispenser-what about a refill system?
And - why the heck do toothpaste tubes have boxes? More useless cardboard to chuck out! OK rant finished!

When I buy bananas, I avoid the wrapped ones. I weigh my bunch and stick the price label on one of them. Bananas are made with their own 'wrapper'! And I use potatoes so seldom that I buy a big one for baking and stick a label on it. Can't stand Marmite but buy Vegemite which is in a clear glass jar.
