Good Morning Everyone,
Its twilight here in Brackley this morning, my usual Thursday jaunt today on the buses .
I enjoy going briefly to Bicester sometimes meeting former work mates, and Buckingham has a long time family link to a hamlet north of Buckingham itself.

Morning Mick, morning all.

North Leicestershire is still dark but it doesn't seem too cold.

My usual Thursday today. Sainsbury's and the butchers with the added excitement of a trip to Mothercare as Wolfie now needs a highchair at our house.

Good Morning Mick and everyone.

We are off on our usual Thursday jaunt too Mick - to the supermarket when DH stirs.

Choir was a bit of a struggle with some new and difficult pieces last night. Came home thinking I was not very musical after all. Feel better about it this morning!

Have a good day everyone. sunshine

Good morning all. Still dark in E.Northants, awake too soon after a very restless night. Picking granddaughter and great grandson up for a shopping trip later. Must find a carwash that is open too, my usual one was closed yesterday and the car is filthy! Hope its a good day for everyone.

Morning all. A damp start on Glam coast, rained in the night.
DH is going to the dentist later, the first of two appointments for a new crown.

The paper has just been delivered so will tackle the crossword and sudoku shortly.
Wishing everyone a good day.

Morning Mick and All.

Slight mist here in South Bucks.

Visiting an 89 year old friend who has recently had a hip replacement and is getting cabin fever being confined to home, she is an out and about sort of person.

Good morning from a foggy NE.
Leaving in thirty minutes for second day of GC care.
Twelve hour day but not toddlers so do not need close supervision.

NannyJan53 Thu 28-Feb-19 07:22:17

Good morning from a very grey and drizzly Black Country. Such a contrast after the last few days of bright sunshine. Had a lovely day in Bridgnorth, and found the Jamie Oliver '5 Ingredients' book in a charity shop. Bargain at £1.95 and is as good as new.

I was going to clean windows outside today hmm

Off to gym shortly (get that out of the way), then the day is mine smile

Hope it won't be long before your friend is mobile NanKate , Mum is 89 and she is always on the go and would feel the same

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning cloudy, damp and windy in Torbay this morning. Off to knit and natter this morning, looking forward to it after a particularly stressful week. Good day wishes to all.

MawBroon Thu 28-Feb-19 07:25:23

Good morning all from a misty N Bucks.
As I am still ????? I expect I had best not inflict my germs on anybody else and will hunker down with the tissues and iPlayer.
First cold since this time last year and bit of a bonzer one.
Wishing you all a pleasant day.

Good morning all.Damp here in Shropshire and feeling much colder.Usual Thursday, waiting for DGD to arrive for her sleepover.DH has given his notice in and will be retiring at the end of May?He is usually a happy chap but his happiness has gone up a notch knowing the end is in sight. He has enjoyed his job but after nearly 50 years is ready to take it easy.

MawBroon Thu 28-Feb-19 07:37:16

But Susan56 has he seen the length of the “To do” list you are compiling for him? grin

Susan56 Thu 28-Feb-19 07:38:36

MawBroon how did you know?

MawBroon Thu 28-Feb-19 07:38:57

Good morning everyone from a greyish but mild South Manchester. No sun. No sight of the Pennines just total heavy pale grey cloud cover. People walking to the train station in heavy coats, off to work and school.

Taking dad to the doctors late afternoon. He’s anxious I know and so am I.

Your description of your cold being a ‘bonzer’ made me smile Maw it’s ages since I heard that word! Hope you’re feeling better soon - resting and waiting is all you can do really. And Susan what a lovely time of the year for your husband to begin his retirement - all the sunny, bright weather to enjoy with no work. My mum used to say ‘everyday is Sunday’!

gillybob Thu 28-Feb-19 07:46:49

Thick fog during the night here on the NE coast. Not a lot of sleep was had due to the fog horn and a big ship sounding their horns in unison all night long. Quite a murky grey start to Thursday (just like my mood)

Off to “that place” yuk.

oldgaijin Thu 28-Feb-19 07:48:06

Good morning all from grey but dry Aberdeenshire. Just as well it isn't t too cold as I have no heating or hot water...yesterday's boiler service became a major job so I hope the chap returns today with the new part.
No gardening today as the ironing beckons.
Have a good day everyone.

Marydoll Thu 28-Feb-19 07:48:23

Good morning all from a chilly and misty Glasgow.
Off to Lidl and hope to spend some time in the garden before picking up DGD.

The garden needs a lot of work after all our building work, it used to be my pride and joy. It's so frustrating not being able to do physically, what I used to do.
Unfortunately DH won't hear of employing a gardener, as he likes to do the work himself. However, whereas I would like to be out everyday, he likes to fit it around golf etc.

Susan, your poor husband doesn't know what is ahead of him! grin
Maw, hope you feel better soon.
Brunette enjoy your special birthday treat.

Have a pleasant day, everyone.

Brunette10 Thu 28-Feb-19 07:48:33

Morning to everyone and to those who follow. It’s dull and damp here in Fife this morning, what a change. No matter we’ve been lucky these last few days and normality has to kick in sometime. Off for a couple of days visiting Glasgow. My birthday treat so looking forward to the change of scenery. Susan56 you too will have to get used to the change of hubby retiring. Hope all have a nice day.

Urmstongran Thu 28-Feb-19 07:50:35

Morning gillybob it’s so nice to have you back. Your posts are always of interest. - I like your directness ?

dragonfly46 Thu 28-Feb-19 07:56:34

Good Morning from a lovely bright sunny Leicestershire.

Coffee with friends this morning then DH has an osteopath appointment.

Hope you feel better soon maw I am hoping my scratchy throat isn’t going to develop.

Urmston wishing your Dad’s trip to the doctor goes well.
Funny you should say that every day being a Sunday is a good thing. It is the one day of the week I hate.

Greyduster Thu 28-Feb-19 08:07:22

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Well, that was the sun that was! It’s a cool grey day in South Yorkshire after yesterday’s glorious swan song. That’ll teach us! We are off to the tip to get rid of our garden rubbish, and then school run this afternoon. DH has a very sticky eye and ‘man flu’. Have a good day, folks.

ninathenana Thu 28-Feb-19 08:07:37

Good morning everyone.

No fog this morning yeah ! If they are right today is the last sunny day in Kent for a while.
Youngest GS has chicken pox but they live too far for this nannie to play nurse maid.
DH out mowing a friends lawn after he's cooked breckie......he wanted to, honestly
Have a good day all.
