Good Morning Everyone,
Its twilight here in brackley this morning, but its dry, a few things to do this morning.
Tend to my fathers grave , he has a rose bush which he planted and today will take a trowel and put some pellets around its roots , or as near as I can get to it with the clay ground we have here, then give it a feed of concentrated fluid hoping that this years roses bloom ,and are strong.
Then is cycling on TV at lunch and on red button later.
Mick

Good Morning Mick, Beechnut and everyone

We have a beautiful dawn sky here on the south coast after another very mild night. I think we have a good day in store before it starts to revert to normal from tomorrow. Been lovely.

DH is out with this bike club today and I have choir this evening but not much else on the agenda so far. That might change.

Hope the day is kind to us all. sunshine

Good morning Mick Beechnut and everyone.

It's foggy again in Kent. I can hear the ship's horns.
I really do need to do some paper work today. DS at the day centre today so I can get to his corner where the pile is.
I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning from Lancashire. This is supposed to be the last warm day before the weather changes. I hope the forecast is correct, it's too early in the year for these temperatures.

Morning Mick, morning All from a misty, chilly corner of Somerset. Sunshine promised later. Busy day ahead, out and about. Hope Wednesday is kind to everyone.

Gettingitrightoneday Wed 27-Feb-19 06:43:22

Woops that was meant for Beechnut.
Time for my glasses.

kittylester Wed 27-Feb-19 06:53:41

Morning all.

It's misty in North Leicestershire.

Busy day ahead for me. Helping on an Alzheimer's course this morning, lunch with the lovely friend who delivers the course and then the school run in Derby. Looking forward to hearing all about the DGC's holiday in Finland.

Enjoy your days everyone.

Morning Mick and All.

Going for a walk and coffee with DH whilst the sun is still shining today.

I love roses Mick especially the ones my mum used to grow in the 1950s which had a wonderful aroma.

Thanks for the encouragement yesterday when a friend and I took our other friend with RA and dementia out to lunch. She had a brilliant time although very tired by the end of the walking and a great smile on her face. It turned out better than I thought it would. ?

NanKate Wed 27-Feb-19 06:59:21

Morning Kitty. The Leicester team beat the Brighton team last night 2 - 1. DGSs will not be pleased. ?

Morning all.
It is dry on South Welsh Coast and a bit blustery.
The warmest temperature for February was recorded in Wales yesterday ☀️ DH gave the lawn its first cut, looks so much better.
Hope everyone enjoys this weather whatever you're doing, even looking out of the window it lifts the spirit.

Good morning, another mild start here in the NE.
Had a lovely seaside walk yesterday, long time since I have seen such a low tide and calm sea.
Message from DS to say GD has flu can we please step in for care as both parents are busy at work. Will have to leave in less than thirty minutes, going to be a long day.

NannyJan53 Wed 27-Feb-19 07:25:57

Good Morning from a frosty but bright Black Country.

Was a gorgeous sunny day yesterday, and my friend and I had a lovely lunch in a country pub, then sat outside for a drink, could not believe how warm it was.

Today, I am popping over to Mums, and we are going to Bridgnorth, a lovely market town by the River. I am sure we will pop into a café for lunch smile

So pleased the day with your friend went well NanKate

Have a good day everyone.

kittylester Wed 27-Feb-19 07:29:44

kate, your friend's mood will be enhanced for a good while after your kindness.

No-one here supports Leicester!! Forest and Wolves are the teams of choice So they would have been supporting Brighton. blush

Marydoll Wed 27-Feb-19 07:33:57

Good morning all from a beautiful, but frosty Glasgow.

Mick, roses are my favourite flowers. I have just bought three new rose bushes.

No childminding duties today, so I plan to catch up on some chores and a bit of sewing alterations.
A wee bit of gardening is also on the cards.
Kate, I'm glad your friend had a lovely time, it was so kind of you to take her out.

Enjoy the sunshine today, everyone.

Nannytopsy Wed 27-Feb-19 07:35:21

Morning everyone! A frosty start again in Leicester but already a lovely day. I had a tooth out yesterday and while it was completely painless, it did leave me a bit wobbly. Taking my time over getting up.

Urmstongran Wed 27-Feb-19 07:36:09

Good morning everyone from south Manchester where the sun is up and the sky a pretty rose pink over The Pennines.

The sun is on the verandah of our apartment where we have a little bistro table and two chairs. A few more weeks and we shall be able to start sitting out there again for our breakfasts and morning coffee - then I know Spring will be here!
