Good morning from County Antrim. Just looked out the window and its quite windy here too. Hopefully get a walk later. We are near the coast and I love the sea when its choppy.
I hope you all have a good day.

Morning Mick, morning Rosie - where are you?, morning all.

It's still dark but not cold in North Leicestershire.

Not a lot planned in the Lester household apart from putting Portuguese Beef in the oven to slow cook for dinner.

Enjoy your days everyone.!!

Good morning all! First day on La Gomera! Looking forward to a good walk.

Morning Mick, morning All from a dark, dry and fairly mild corner of Somerset. No idea what we’ll do today, or even what we’ll eat. Disturbed night so suspect little activity. See how the day goes. Hope Sunday is kind to everyone.

Good Morning All. Dark outside at present.
This is when I get up because lying in bed is more uncomfortable.
Cup of tea my next move.

I am watching the gardening programs though.

Good morning everyone!

Hope we have a better weather day than yesterday which was gloomy with a thick cloud layer all day. Brightened by a visit from DD in the afternoon. So nice to have her to myself for a while and catch up on things in her busy life.

Hope the day is kind to us all.

Good morning all, a mild but damp morning here in Torbay,
Walking the dog later, quiet day today will tackle my beading later. Wish all a good day.

Good morning windy here in Leicestershire. Hoping to go for a walk today although a little stiff from yesterday.

Yes I must look up Portuguese beef. We are having normal roast beef and Yorkshires!

Willow10 Sun 17-Feb-19 07:40:10

Good morning all. Dry and mild in East Northants. Woke early yhis morning and listened to second episode of The L-shaped Room on radio 4 Extra - wish I'd heard the first episode! I vaguely remember the film. Hoping to see youngest son today. He works so hard and I don't like to intrude on his weekends, so it's a treat when we can get together. Hope it's a good day for everyone.

Marydoll Sun 17-Feb-19 07:42:25

Good morning everyone, it's quite mild in Glasgow, 10 degrees and cloudy.

Up early, despite getting home very late from a wedding. I would prefer to lie in!
Going to open up church and hand keys back to keyholder, (thank goodness) who had been sunning himself abroad for the last two weeks.

Then going to check on DGD. As we were leaving the wedding, she started complaining of a sore foot, when we checked, it was badly swollen. We had to get ice from the bar to get the swelling down. She doesn't know how it happened.
She was flower girl and was in her element, hardly stopped all day and charmed all the men.grin
I know I'm biased, but she was beautiful. ?

Have a pleasant Sunday all.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. The sun is shining again in South Yorkshire. Looks like it will be a dry week for half term. We are off to junior football in about an hour then GS and his folks will be here later for a roast dinner. He is staying here overnight as we have him tomorrow. Happy Sunday everyone.

SueH49 Sun 17-Feb-19 07:58:45

Good morning to all in the Northern Hemishere. In a cooler Melbourne (we are in the outer south eastern suburbs) Australia - only 30C today - it is now 7pm and I'm winding down for the evening.

Brunette10 Sun 17-Feb-19 07:59:23

Good Mornjng to everyone. It’s a bright and mild start here in Fife today. Already had my porridge so ready to start and finish chores and will get out for a walk later on. Marydoll you are a very busy lady. Hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning from a quite bright South Glam coast. Wind has died down now but kept me awake a bit in the night.

Hope your daughter feels better soon Susan and that your dgd's foot is better too Marydoll.

DS and DH going to cook up some sausages and mash later, for which I'm very grateful.
Hope everyone has an enjoyable Sunday. Enjoy your quiet day Mick.

1inamillion Sun 17-Feb-19 08:14:39

Thank you again Mawbroon ?

MawBroon Sun 17-Feb-19 08:18:52

Good morning from sunny N Bucks where you could really believe Spring is springing.
In the absence of a rugby international to watch I went to see “All is True” yesterday, hoping it might be like a feature length “Upstart Crow” - both written by Ben Elton. Sad film though - not the effect I had intended but met a former colleague on the way in so we sat together and had a bit of a catch up!
Wishing you all a pleasant day!

Pittcity Sun 17-Feb-19 08:24:13

Good morning from sunny Colchester.
Quiet day here with roast pork for dinner.
Will potter in the garden while waiting for a new tumble dryer to be delivered.

Grammaretto Sun 17-Feb-19 08:28:04

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. The sun is shining directly in my face through the bedroom window.
Probably a lot on the agenda today but first porridge, tea and toast.
I have visitors all this week so plenty to do of company.
You astonish me MaryDoll with all you manage to fit in.
Good wishes to all especially those who are not well.

NannyJan53 Sun 17-Feb-19 08:28:18

Good Morning from a very spring like Black Country.

Yesterday was really warm and sunny, hope it lasts!

Will pop over to DD's new house today, to keep the DGD's occupied whilst she carries on sorting everything, as they moved in Friday afternoon, and her DH had to work yesterday and today (self employed). Luckily it is half term now, and as she is a teacher is at home for the week.

We had our Valentines meal last night, just the deal from M & S, but we couldn't open the bottle of Prosecco!

Roast lamb for dinner tonight.

Hope you all have a lovely Sunday.

NanKate Sun 17-Feb-19 08:33:03

Morning Mick and All.

Lovely bright morning in South Bucks.

Marydoll I know where your DGD gets her charm and fun from, her Gran ?

Greyduster I too will be back on the football pitch next weekend. Our eldest DGS was 8 yesterday and he scored a hat trick, he is still on cloud 9 ⛅️

Fitting in a walk this morning and watching the tennis final in Rotterdam this afternoon.

Have a good Sunday folks.
