Good Morning Saturday

Morning Mick, morning All. Much the same in our corner of Somerset, still dark, seems dry out there. Sounds a good day ahead, mick, enjoy your family time. Advising on some DiY this morning then admin, or perhaps a trip to town on the bus if we survive the DiY . Hope Saturday is kind to everyone.

Park run this morning, although I walk most of it I am going to try and improve my personal best.

It is a bit misty here on the south coast and we are forecast a cloudy day. Spring is on its way though - our daffodils are out!

I need a library visit this morning and might buy a Farmers Market cake for DH, who does love a bit of cake. I prefer a bit of chocolate.

No spectacular sunrise this morning sadly as Berry Head is shrouded in mist and we have "mizzle"! It is chilly too of course, but as compensation there are 4 swans feeding on the water.
Now I am going to try and speak to my grandchildren on the other side of the world.

Feeling more human this morning, managed to wash my hair at the kitchen sink yesterday with the help of an NHS perching stool. Oh the simple pleasures ( foot in plaster)

Good Morning all. I have been tapping away on my tablet for about half an hour without my glasses on and my eyedrops in. No wonder I cant see what I am doing.

The font size on this tablet seems to get smaller by the day.
Very grey skies here in Cheshire . I am hoping for better.

Today I took my friend out for coffee and some retail therapy. She was told by her oncologist that her cancer has spread so we are making the most of our time while she is still well enough??

Tonight my husband is sitting in front of the tv watching the super rugby which started again this weekend, and I am in the bedroom watching my programs uninterrupted....bliss ?

Oh yes, nankate, I’m the one advising, otherwise known as offering ‘helpful’ suggestions that will be ignored until other approaches are found, by trial and error, to be inadequate when someone else will claim my ideas as a miracle solution. Well, that’s my take on the process. I suspect Mr C’s view will be very different . Wish us luck.

Good Morning to all and to those who follow. It's dull but dry and cold here in Fife at the moment. We have no specific plans for today as yet but no doubt we will end up doing something. May get out for a walk if not too cold. Had a lovely birthday yesterday but that's it all over for another year. Everyone seems busy today so enjoy.

A bit wiped out this morning after my very enjoyable Glasgow meet up yesterday. The route was all uphill and I was exhausted by the climb, my cough sounded like a dog ?barking.. However, it was all worth it. What lovely ladies you were.

I'm going to a wedding today, so I must go and titivate myself. My son, DIL and wee grandaughter are also going, son is best man and DGD is the flower girl. I suspect I may be child minding, as mum and dad let their hair down.
The sun is meant to shime today, as I hope it will for all, no matter where you are.

Must get a hotpot in the slow cooker before I go, it's lovely to come back to after an afternoon at a match.

Good Morning from a bright and sunny Black Country.

DD and family are now in their new home! Lots to do, but luckily it is half term so DD is off for a week! They were 10-15 mins drive from me, now they are 40 mins drive. But it is a lovely village where they are, much nicer for the children to grow up in.

Paint stripping to start in the kitchen this weekend, or I may leave it for next week, as I have a mountain of ironing! Decisions, decisions

We are having our Valentines meal tonight, so have that to look forward to.

A good day yesterday showing a newcomer around our area in spring sunshine and later an Indian meal at the local with friends.

Good morning all from an overcast Aberdeenshire. Its not cold and there is a blink of sun so it should improve.
Met friends for fish 'n chips and a good blether last night which was fun.
The shed is partly cleared and the car is filling up with junk ready for the tip so the next job will be to power hose everywhere, O Joy!
