Morning everyone

A glorious day in Kent yesterday but today is cloudy though still mild.
A day of pottering for both of us. DH has finished his woodwork job and spring cleaned the garden so is at a bit of a loose end......
Anyone want to hire a man, there are restrictions smile
Have a good day.

Good morning all. Dry, a bit grey but milder in East Northants. Need to check the local road situation before I venture out - some are closed for the whole weekend. Enjoy a good day everyone.

I'll hire him nina to put the contents of our garage in a skip.
I'm married to a hoarder.

We emptied the loft finally two years ago.
I have thrown out loads of ties recently, he hasn't even noticed. Bless him.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Bright, sunny and cold in South Yorkshire again. DS is coming to lunch and then off to footie with his dad. I am going to the library and a bit of shopping. I have to try and get some cartridges for my very old Parker fountain pen, as I plan to hand it on to GS. It’s nearly as old as his mum, but it still works. Enjoy your brother’s visit, Mick! Have a good day, folks.

Hope everyone has a good day x

Good morning everyone from a very mild South Manchester. The sun is streaming down through some dark clouds in shafts - it looks beautiful, rather like the old biblical paintings of yore. I can see the outline of the Pennines quite clearly, always a good sign of decent weather.
No plans today which, as half term comes to a close, is rather nice to contemplate!

Terrible lesson though she is still in shock. Hope you all have a lovely Saturday going out for lunch with dh and some shopping love to all enjoy your meal mick.

Good morning from a grey, misty Colchester. Not going to turn out sunny like yesterday.
Laundry and a few bits in town today. Then we're getting the suitcases out and dusted ready to pack for Oz and NZ

A late good morning from the NE coast. Another beautiful day here.

My sister has roped my poor DH into helping her boyfriend remove a kitchen that she is buying second hand. Like me he finds it hard to say no to anyone but I wish I had said no on his behalf. He hasn’t been well of late and this is the last thing he needs to be doing on such a rare lovely Saturday day. Grrrrrrrrr

Sorry I’ve missed so much recently, I do hope everyone is well. smile

Good morning, a pleasant mild NE.
Need to do some shopping, forgot some birthday cards the other day, and need to buy some flowers for my neighbour. It is a year today since her DH died.
We had a lovely seaside walk yesterday, finished with an ice cream sitting in the sun.

Good morning, all.
Greyduster has the forecast spot on for South Yorkshire. It's not quite as bright as yesterday, with more cloud about, but it still looks a pleasant morning.
General jobs today, shopping etc.
Fish pie for dinner tonight (made a double batch last week and froze half).
Those of you going out today/this evening, enjoy yourselves. ?

Gilly, so glad to see you posting. flowers

Marydoll your description of your trip to Glasgow has caused me to have tears of laughter streaming down my face. I suggest on your next shopping trip you get a nice pair of leggings. I am a total convert. I like the Seasalt ones and some thinner ones from M and S. I either wear trousers over them or a tunic dress. I then wear some matching coloured socks.

Welcome back Gilly you have been missed.

Marydoll Sat 16-Feb-19 09:45:41

I have loads of legging, Kate, but I was trying to be chic and sophisticated in my knitted dress, thick tights and ankle boots. grin
The tights have been consigned to the bin! The crotch was actually at my knees, it felt like someone had tied and elastic band around them. ?

Good morning All x
Cloudy now after a bright morning but you can feel the heat in that sun when it's out. A mild start as I even have the patio door open, what a treat.

ScotinOz, so sad for your friend, but how fortunate she has you to spend time out and about with. It makes a huge difference.

Had a fit of sneezing last night caused by a neighbours log-burner and my nose bled. It's years since that has happened but I wasn't taking warfarin at the time, so a bit scary. Whatever was burning irritated my nose as I could actually feel it inside the " bridge ". Health hazards !

Enjoy your day everyone whatever you do.

And gillybob the " can't say no " applies to me too however I'm feeling. sad smile

Good morning. Dull but mild in east London. No plans for today but a couple of maybes. First is DS who's heading home from uni today (reading week!) maybe about 5. He may find an empty house as his big sis maybe arriving back at her mum's today in north London, so we may head over there to say hello and drop off her mum's Christmas cake. Actually was awake around 7 today but made a cup of tea and stayed in bed reading til about 10 - what indulgence.

Very dull start this morning, brightening up now and rather warm!! So much so.....I’ve turned the heating off!
Sorted out kitchen cupboards and discarded one or two out of date things!
Washing ready to go on line, but seagulls circling ominously close so might leave it a while. Some body near here throws out bread for the bu....s, so it’s not good for washing or windows. Oh yes...the sun is out??⛅️⛅️???☀️☀️☀️
