Morning all from the Scottish Borders where it's fairly mild and still dark but I am enjoying the later evenings. Its still light at 5.30!
I slept so badly last night, after a cup of tea I may just try to drift back for an hour.
Have a good day everyone.

Good Morning from a dark and chilly Black Country.

DD and family are moving tomorrow, so I will be collecting my 2 DGD's from school this afternoon, as they are staying overnight. Will take and collect them from school tomorrow and deliver them to their new home. Luckily they are moving not too far away, they will be about 12 miles further from me!

I will make them my Delia Smith Meatballs tonight for dinner.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Good Morning to you all

It’s getting light outside and is frosty. Same as Kitty, some sun expected for later.

Thanks Mick and Blue Saphire for yesterday’s Northampton info. I had a Google look and thought the church had an unusual front.

A bittersweet day for me but I hope you all have a lovely Valentines Day ?

teaforone Thu 14-Feb-19 07:14:49

Morning everyone. Still dark here in Leicestershire/Nottinghamshire border but hoping for a bit of sunshine today. No valentine for me today sad but have to bite the bullet today and find someone to re-turf my front garden. I realise it will never recover from last year so I have to decide whether to re-turf or go the whole way and get rid of grass and find an alternative plan.

Morning Mick and All.

Mist lifting over the Thames Valley, followed by sunshine. Is this really the start of Spring ?

Off for a Doc’s appointment this afternoon and then home for a nice meal.

Good Morning to all and to those who follow. It's a bright, quiet start in Fife today. Lovely and peaceful at the moment. Thoroughly enjoyed Les Mis yesterday in the capital, had a great day. Off to get my col/cut this morning then some shopping in afternoon. Hope everyone has a good day.

EllanVannin Thu 14-Feb-19 07:52:28

Good morning All x
A fabulous sunrise earlier with the clearest of skies now marred by the many spreading aircraft vapours sad
Must take advantage of the sun today and wash some winter woollens and hopefully pack them away.

Not the best of nights but hey-ho I don't have to go to work.
The longer days are getting more noticeable now which is so uplifting after what seemed an age in darkness.

Take it easy everyone and enjoy your day.

dragonfly46 Thu 14-Feb-19 07:58:05

Good Morning from a bright and sunny Leicestershire. Frost on the grass this morning so hoping it won’t affect the crocii, primula and daffodils.

Coffee with friends this morning.

GrandmainOz Thu 14-Feb-19 07:58:26

Good morning all!
“Pack away winter woollens” *EllenVann ??
Very frosty here last night in N Bucks - “Ne’er cast a clout” etc etc

Looking forward to some time at home after so many weekends/trips on granny duty. Love them loads, but need to draw breath now and a crisp sunny February day is a good day to start.
Wishing you all a pleasant day

Morning all!

Chilly start but a clear blue sky already so looks like a nice day in store.

Quick visit as the car is going in for a service imminently and I need to be organised!

Hope the day is a good one for us all.

Good morning from foggy Colchester. It's quite thick but will soon burn off as we are forecast sunshine.
Visiting family this afternoon to hear about their trip to New Zealand....we are going next week and are getting some tips.

Marydoll Thu 14-Feb-19 08:15:41

Good morning Mick and all.
A quiet day here, pottering about and some catching up with housework. Picking up DGD from nursery later on in the afternoon.
My winter woollens will be staying put until at least May! grin
DH has just given me a Mother's Day card instead of a Valentine's one! grin He didn't read the words, as usual.Thank goodness I have a sense of humour.
Have a pleasant day everyone.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. A nice bright start in South Yorkshire. A beef stew to get into the slow cooker this morning. Second school run this afternoon. If there is no homework, we may go to the park for an hour! Have a good day, folks.
