Hello everyone. Late clocking in today - took the dog a very long walk in the sunshine and went further than I intended so had a little power nap when I got back. I love days like this, don’t you? So cheery ?. Enjoy the rest of your day, whatever you are doing

Absolutely beautiful here in south Somerset... clear blue sky and warm breeze ... been gardening all morning without a jacket... enjoying a coffee on the garden seat ... lambs playing in the fields around ... spring is on its way ...

Good morning, glorious sunny day in east London, quite warm in the sun. Have skipped tennis this morning to visit a local food bank where I'm thinking of volunteering. May get out for a walk later but otherwise free until choir this evening.

Wow! You all get up so flipping early!! Why do that it you don't have to? Its still winter you know, hibernation season.

Lovely sunny day here in the west midlands woke to a beautiful Valentine's card from my husband and downstairs in the lounge a gorgeous bunch of roses displayed in the vase.Tickets for a trip to Paris

A very happy Valentine's day to Mick and all who celebrate it. My thoughts go to those who are not able to celebrate as they would have wished due to bereavement etc. Enjoy the memories.

Breakdown service got car going again yesterday so we are going to have lunch out.

Good morning all from a cloudy Aberdeenshire. It's 8 degrees outside and there is a golden sky.
Busy day yesterday, didn't go to plan as I went in to town to exchange a top, then to charity shop to drop off stuff, shopping and home. The second curtain is still waiting to be hemmed, but that is a rainy day job. Shall do a bit more garden tidying...much more satisfying.

Good morning everyone from a very sunny South Manchester. It’s so bright ( being 8:30am! ) that I can’t look towards the Pennines as the sun is shining so much! Had a wonderful day in Lytham yesterday - I fell in love with a gorgeous lamp with a Moorcroft pottery base but at £660 I bought some beautiful stationery instead!

DH has hospital appointment after lunch which is likely to take all afternoon and he can’t drive afterwards. A few hours shopping in Norwich beckons!

Good morning everyone; it's very foggy in Northampton today but sun is promised later.

Went to get my newspaper in this morning and there on the door handle was a single red rose. Now I have absolutely no illusions about a secret admirer; I would imagine it's one of my neighbours being kind and remembering that it's the first Valentine's day for me since DH died. Whatever the reason it's a lovely thought.

A few jobs this morning and may go into town this afternoon for a few things. Just waiting for Sainsbury's delivery.

Just seen my neighbour's post on Facebook - she found a single red rose ? on her front door as well! Mystery!
