Buy too many cushions.
Ask "do I look fat in this?" (When there is never going to be a right answer)
Order their meal with a salad because they're 'on a diet' and then steal the chips from their partners plate.

Over to you.. tchsmile

My OH could probably produce a list of the annoying things that I do but I have no idea what those might be because he's generally much too kind to tell me (plus he doesn't fancy a smack in the gob!).

I don't do any of the things on MissA's list, though

Grannybags Thu 20-Dec-18 21:18:45

Moan that their partner never does any housework and then complain that they've done it "wrong" when they do!

janeainsworth Thu 20-Dec-18 21:19:46

Annoying? Moi?
Apart from always being right, I have no foibles at all grin

Well DH has nice thermal socks and I have cold feet..

Speaking of cold feet DH never complains when I warm my feet in him in bed.

Sometimes I demolish eat the last chocolate digestive.

Would I be annoying if I said that 'I am the better map reader?'

I've just asked my DH and he says: 1) When he has been all round the supermarket only to find me still looking at things on the first aisle 2) when he picks out fruit or veg and I put it back and find a "better one" 3) when I'm supposed to be following him, he turns round and I've made a detour to look at something down another aisle and vanished 4) When I can't decide what article to buy and I um and ah for ages before walking off with nothing That's enough for now, he's on too much of a roll, I'm starting to look like a complete plonker!

Anniebach Thu 20-Dec-18 21:38:16

I am perfect, there is no one to tell me I am not

NanKate Thu 20-Dec-18 21:47:08

Confirmed Annie ?

Apparently I start talking about something half way through what I was thinking - he reckons he has no idea what I'm thinking. After 48 years I would have thought he'd know by now grin

Work out the best way to hurt people that don’t deserve the lashing. As the saying goes, hurt people hurt people & never a truer word.

Vickixx Thu 20-Dec-18 23:25:01

On a practical sense I would say comandere the mirrors in public washrooms when some of us are quite happy with a quick glance & a hand wash as long as we aren’t looking like Quasimodo ?

MissAdventure Thu 20-Dec-18 23:34:21

Women go to public toilets in pairs.

Chewbacca Thu 20-Dec-18 23:43:16

I "mumble". It's nothing to do with the fact that he's completely deaf on one side; oh no. It's because I turn my face away when I'm speaking and I mumble.

MissAdventure Fri 21-Dec-18 00:18:19

Ah, a mumbler.
There's a lot about, the more deaf older I get.

BlueSapphire Fri 21-Dec-18 07:00:28

DH always said that I have a butterfly mind.....

Well amongst many other of my glaring faults is criticising what he buys at the supermarket. I really should prefer cheese cake to toilet paper.
I spread out- I work from home and sometimes have paper work to do, I try to do some between clients so I put it on the dining table. All over, and leave it there! Sometimes for days!
I just push it aside when we eat. What’s the problem?
It would be lovely if I had time to so it all at once but life gets in the way.?
I make him write about 6 Christmas cards once a year.
I mumble too.
I don’t want to watch shed and buried, flog it, last of the summer wine(again) and on and on and on.
I want to watch strictly.
I want to invite friends round for supper- this spoils his viewing!
I think I’m not going to please Grandad ?

M0nica Fri 21-Dec-18 08:20:47

If the question 'Does my bum look big in this?' arises I know the answer and promptly put the garment back on the rail.

Nothing to do with my size. Everything to do with my shape.

KatyK Fri 21-Dec-18 09:40:14

I talk to him when he is engrossed in a TV programme, tell him he's being ridiculous when he says I look better than other women of my age (he is), ask for ideas for gifts for people and then tell him his ideas are daft. Lots more but he takes it with good humour. smile

kittylester Fri 21-Dec-18 10:10:08

I'm not going to risk asking DH! We've not got that much time!!
