Morning Mick, morning All

It’s ‘Orrible outside. I’m staying in here today and doing not a lot.

DoraMarr Thu 29-Nov-18 06:47:27

Good morning Mick, Annie and everyone. It’s raining here in Birmingham, but doesn’t seem as cold. Up early to fetch my granddaughter for my day with her. We are going to see a puppet show today, which she will either love or hate. “The Nutcracker” last night was superb. I wonder if MAw Broon’s grandson was dancing last night?

Morning mick, morning all!

It's mild, wet and windy here in North Leicestershire too.

I have been wondering where the good morning thread was and was worrying if you were ok, Mick. Then realise that it wasn't you but me! DH has an appt at the eye clinic so we were up early and you were on time, as always!

Morning Mick, Nfk and all

Wind howling, rain lashing it's a lovely morning in Kent.
Hope it calms down, we're all going to see Grindwold later.
Stay dry everyone.

Good Morning Mick Nfk Dora and everyone to follow.

It is very wet here in the Black Country, but not actually raining at the moment.

Had a lovely meal out yesterday to celebrate my friends 65th, it was a Gastro Pub called the Woodman, Claverley near Bridgnorth. I can highly recommend it.

Gym this morning, then pop over to Mums to spend an afternoon with her.

Would love to see 'The Nutcracker' but looks like every performance is fully booked now!

Have a good day everyone.

NannyJan53 Thu 29-Nov-18 06:53:21

Good Morning Nina and Kitty our posts crossed!

NannyJan53 Thu 29-Nov-18 06:55:27

Meant to say Kitty, I hope Mr Kitty's eye appointment goes well.

nonnasusie Thu 29-Nov-18 06:58:02

Buongiorno from Cassino. It's a lovely sunny morning here with a light touch of frost, our first this year. Hope it warms up later as I am off to the hairdresser.

MawBroon Thu 29-Nov-18 07:05:15

Good orning everyone - a bit too late to mention you all by name.
It’s very quiet here as I got back after 9 last night (Scarlet Fever DGS looking very close to being back to normal, aren’t antibiotics wonderful) so Hattie is still on her kennels holiday as I am off again at lunchtime in the other direction.
Yes, doraMarr he would have been in last night’s performance, glad you enjoyed it.
Just hoping I can shake this cold off so that I am not snuffling and coughing when I am due to see him in Sunday’s matinee.
Wishing you all a pleasant day.

Morning everyone, wet and windy in Northampton.
Sainsbury's delivery this morning, then need to pop down to M&S food later when/if it stops raining.
Walking group was cancelled yesterday so stayed in and finished reading Rebecca. Can't imagine how I've never read it before.

Good morning * Mick* and all.
It's a dry start in Glasgow.
I have to venture out to the shops, the first time leaving the house in a week, despite still feeling under the weather. Supplies are running low.
We had two power cuts last night, caught us totally unawares. One, when I was half way up the stairs!
Glad to hear your DGS is on the mend, Maw and I hope Mr Kitty gets good news today.
Have a good day, everyone.

Pittcity Thu 29-Nov-18 07:30:11

Good morning from a dark, wet and windy Colchester. Temperature back in double figures though.
3 year old DGS being dropped off for day any minute now. We have to wait in for deliveries...The joys of online shopping....and then it's off out to jump in puddles and feed the ducks before it gets dark at 3pm.

Good morning All x
Blowing a gale here in the NW so I hope I stay on my feet as I trek along for my flu jab later------will take the pointy umbrella for balance. It's not cold though.
Bit of a disturbed night so won't be feeling my best later on.

Hope all is well ( or going to be ) with everyone.

GrannyGravy13 Thu 29-Nov-18 08:03:56

Goodmorning all x

I can hear the wind blowing, not sure if it is raining as I haven't opened the curtains yet!!

Off to lunch with 8 friends today, it is a fund raiser for our local hospice. It was the hospice that Mum died in last year, and today would have been her birthday. She was known and loved by my friends so I think, there will be a few tears.

Wishing you all a peaceful day.

Good morning everyone from a damp, windy Leamington Spa. It was lovely to see my 3 DGD'S yesterday after my journey from Essex. They are at school/playschool today so I think DD1 and I are off for a visit to Warwick. She sings in a choir, who have a concert on Saturday, in a church in Warwick and I think she wants to see where the church is beforehand. We are both a bit under the weather so I don't think there will be much else on the agenda apart from coffee.
I hope you all have a good day.
