Good Morning all from a very rainy and windy Fife. Terrible day for us here however will just get on with everything. Got some shopping to do then other bits and bobs, nothing exciting. Glad to hear MawDGS is getting back to normal, antibiotics are a wonder. Marydoll look after yourself, first day out and all that, don't do too much. For those under the weather take care.

Good morning everyone . Feeling a bit shaky after 2 days in bed with a tummy bug. Haven’t eaten since Monday and could really do with another day to recover but “that place” is calling .

Thinking of poor morethan who was admitted to hospital yesterday . Hope she’s feeling better soon.

Have a good Thursday all x

Morning Mick and All.

Another dull rainy day in South Bucks. I would far rather it be cold and bright.

Glad you are getting out today Mary were you on the edge of cabin fever ?

Hope all goes well for MrKitty at the Eye Clinic.

Had a coughing fit in the night and I thought this damn cough had almost gone ?

Off to the annual Carol Concert tonight which is always excellent.

Morning Mick, morning All from a wet and very windy corner of Somerset. Catch up day here today. Hope all goes well for your husband kitty and for you dragonfly. That sounds better maw, pleased he’s on the mend. I’m quietly in shock, needed a nurse appointment, got through to my surgery at the third attempt and offered an appointment today. Positive start for me. Hope Thursday is kind to everyone.

Good morning all. Late this morning after a lovely birthday yesterday. Both sons and daughter in law came for a Chinese last night. Lovely cards and presents, including tickets to see Mike and the Mechanics next April. A long wait but well worth it! Thank you to all who sent good wishes. Hoping its a good day for everyone.

Wild and windy here in Letchworth with the rain lashing down. It is bouncing up from the water in the bird bath as i type. Usual Thursday morning visit to the bank and supermarket shop. Also want to get something for an 18th birthday if i can today, and a card for my oldest friend who is grieving for her aunty who died last week. She was the last remaining link to her own mother. Good luck to dragonfly and hope anyone else feeling down or in pain manages to get through another day.

Good morning Mick, Annie to come and ALL. It's grey and rainy here, but not cold. I had thought of tackling some shops today, but still not back to running on full strength yet, so probably not.
To all those with health problems and not up to par, get well soon.
Morethan hope you are being sorted out.
Have a good day one and all.

Nana3 Thu 29-Nov-18 08:59:22

Good morning all from a very windy Lancashire. Busy time ahead so might not be here for a few days. Stay safe everyone.

Mapleleaf Thu 29-Nov-18 09:13:26

Good morning.
It's grey, very damp and windy here, though the rain has stopped for now. It feels less cold.
Happy birthday, dragonfly ??.
I hope those of you going for tests/receiving results today get good news, and those of you with snuffles, aches and pains get relief from them today.
Lovely to hear you have your daughter visiting again, Annie.

Good morning, it is mild, wet and windy here in the NE.
Had a successful shopping trip yesterday, purchased birthday presents for DS and my sister.
Sorry to hear you are unwell gilly, I swear by black tea and dry toast.
Good to hear the antibiotics are doing their job Maw.
Surgery has rung and cancelled my appointment with the nurse and rearranged for a month's time, I told them I would just take my own BP but they trust me to be honest ?

harrigran Thu 29-Nov-18 09:21:06

But they do NOT trust me.

Good morning from the south east it's a grey day but quite mild. Having lunch with my pal in our nearby riverside Cote today, Off to our local town with husband later to see the Christmas light switched on.

Have a nice day with your daughter Annie and good day to everyone else.

Gagagran Thu 29-Nov-18 09:39:54

Good Morning everyone - a late one from me even though I was up at 5am.

It's mild and grey here on the south coast and the early rain seems to have stopped. There was a lot of standing water on the roads when we went on our usual early supermarket trip so i think the heavy rain must have been in the night.

Pleased to say that our final choir rehearsal last night was 100% better than last week's and we did the whole concert programme through with only minor mistakes. The audience wouldn't recognise them as such if we repeat them on Saturday. Feeling much more positive about it now. DH, DD and DGD will be there to cheer us on.

Hope all those with health issues are coping and soon feeling better especially morethan who is in hospital I understand. flowers

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning Michael and all other!

I am suppose to go for my christmas shopping this Saturday. But I prefer to buy online that save my lots of time.

What's in your shopping bag this Christmas?

Greyduster Thu 29-Nov-18 09:53:03

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. I am veeeery late this morning, due, unusually, to oversleeping!! Dreech here in South Yorkshire, so no plans to be out other than to do a food shop. Morning all! Aberdeenshire is about to be blown/float out to see so I think I'll take to the drink. G&T anyone?

Kim19 Thu 29-Nov-18 10:49:07

NfkD. Absolutely love 'doing not a lot'. May I join you?!

dragonfly46 Thu 29-Nov-18 10:52:25

Gilly it is Mr Dragonfly's birthday I am just a youngster at 72.

I should say good morning again as the predictive text turned out a very strange phrase.

Coconut Thu 29-Nov-18 11:04:17

Good morning to all ....Just forced myself to do a 40min power walk up the nature trail near our village. The rain had stopped but the winds practically blew me along, so it helped ! Just going to do DD’s weekly shop as she is not well, then I can have a chilled pm wrapping Xmas gifts to get it all out the way and avoid prying eyes !

1inamillion Thu 29-Nov-18 11:06:40

Good morning all from a windy and showery Wales. The dog went out very reluctantly for a wee earlier and is now fast asleep on her chair, not sure if we'll get a walk in later, was nearly blown off my feet yesterday. The seagulls are squawking and are trying to fly against the wind but are being blown everywhere.
Hope the weather improves, there are so many Christmas Fayres and events on tomorrow and over the weekend.

David1968 Thu 29-Nov-18 11:20:26

Good morning from Morecambe Bay, where the wind is wuthering and the rain is lashing down against the windows. A good day for a lunch-time swim at our nearby health club.
