Good Morning Mick and everyone.

Less chilly here on the south coast today but the forecast is for rain.

My dental appointment turned out to be long and fairly arduous. She did a partial removal of the crown then a root canal on the affected root beneath. Then she reconstructed the crown.

After 40 minutes with my mouth wide open, it was done but she has warned me that it may not be the end of the problem and if it has to be an extraction she will refer me for surgery as the roots are long and twisted. It feels a bit tender today but the ache has gone so fingers crossed.

I plan a quiet day today and hope everyone else has a good day.

Good morning Mick, Annie and everyone.
Still dark here in Birmingham, but dry, and doesn’t look as cold.
Oh dear, Gagagran, what an ordeal!
The memorial service I went to yesterday was lovely, with lots of laughter as well as tears.
Moseley Farmers’ Market later for a bacon and sausage bap.

Good morning everyone. Still dark here in Northampton, but dry. Forecast is a shower then very cloudy.
Stayed in yesterday and will go a bit stir crazy if I'm at home all day again today, so may well pop into town later and have a mooch round. Want to get the DGDs book tokens from Waterstones, and a nice book for DD. Then that's my Christmas shopping done! Perhaps I'll look at Christmas jumpers again.
Glad you got your tooth sorted Gaga.
Have a nice day everyone.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Grey and cold in South Yorkshire. We are up early as GS is running a cross country at ten o’clock this morning and we have said we will go and watch as it is fairly local. Hope your mouth becomes more comfortable today, Gaga. Not the easiest procedure, I know. Have a good day folks.

Grammaretto Sat 24-Nov-18 07:35:11

Good morning from still dark Scottish borders where it doesn't seem quite as cold as yesterday.
I'll be busy doing teas today for a craft fair.
I'm glad your pain has gone gagagran.

EllanVannin Sat 24-Nov-18 07:39:34

Good morning All x
Not one of my best nights as I had a niggling kidney pain and was up a few times in the night. If anything's going to go wrong you can guarantee it'll be at the weekend.
Got washing to do today as it's supposed to be fine, though I can't see the washing drying very much outside in this weather but it'll be fresh.
Doing Fennel's pork and apple casserole recipe today so will have and enjoy that later on with mashed potatoes.

Hope all's well with everyone.

Morning Mick and All.

Grey, damp and cold in South Bucks.

Spending morning making a ton of spaghetti Bol for next weekend for DS and DGSs and us. I have DH on onion and garlic chopping, mushroom slicing etc he’s a great sous chef.

Gaga I think I will have my tooth out as dentist said my canals are hard to see. She said the tooth was dying, I felt about 100 ?

Low level coughing now fortunately.

Good morning from grey, damp Colchester. This weather is getting boring now.

Good morning all, I haven't a clue what the weather is like, still in bed with DGD lying snoring beside me and I' afraid to move in case I wake her up. This is unusual for both of us, as we are usually up at the crack of dawn.
It's a lovely feeling having this wee hot water bottle cosying up to me.
Gaga, glad you are getting some relief.
Mick, I love a rake around a flea market.
For those spending the day with grandchildren enjoy, for those under the weather, I hope you feel better soon.
Another day in the house for me,
Happy Saturday everyone.

Good morning all from a damp and grey start to the day here in Letchworth. Poor Gagagran what we have to endure once in that backward tilting chair!!!! So glad the pain is now gone just a little tenderness remains.

Meeting my sister this morning for cofffee and a catch up as we havent seen each other for two weeks which is unheard of for us. She has been so busy at work picking up extra hours due to shortage of staff and christmas orders. Then last weekend she was away with her bowling friends for a long weekend, so lots to chat about this morning. Then later i will meet her again with my niece for the big Christmas light switch on in our 'little town of Letchworth' have a great day everyone and those in pain or distress i hope you get some relief.

Good morning everyone from a very wet Essex by the sea. We will pop into town to get a few bits then going to a school Christmas Fair this afternoon.
Gaga glad your tooth is feeling better today, root canal work is no fun.
Hope you all have a pleasant Saturday.

Good morning all. Grey and damp in East Northants. Yesterday was grey all day and it was lights on and curtains drawn at 3.30 pm! I do miss the sun. I think it will be a quiet day pottering indoors for me. I hope it's a pleasant one for everyone.

annsixty Sat 24-Nov-18 08:24:18

Good morning all.
Not so cold here but dull.
Family leaving today, I am going to see H, I hope he is not wanting to go home.
Sorry about the tooth episode Gaga it sounds like you suffered, I hope it settles down with no further work needed.
Enjoy your days out everyone who is travelling?
I now have the challenge of shopping and cooking for one, life is never still.

Morning All

Another still, grey day in the north of Norfolk.

Awake last night with cramps, pins and needles and very cold feet, I had that two o’clock worry in my brain as to whether it was dangerous side effects of the recently prescribed statins or just that my hot water bottle had fallen out of the bed!

I’m out today with DD2 and DGD2 to have lunch and see the Nutcracker ballet in Norwich. And do a lot of shopping.

DH just getting out of bed now. Sorry for those a bit under the weather, good to hear to those under the duvet smile you must need it. Have a good day everyone, keep your chin up to those under the weather.

NfkDumpling Sat 24-Nov-18 08:35:47

Close posts Ann. It’s a shame your family couldn’t have stayed a bit longer, but did you say they’ve left you the dog to cuddle?

dragonfly46 Sat 24-Nov-18 08:41:20

Good morning everyone from dark grey Leicestershire. Staying in this morning but popping up to see my mum in the care home this afternoon. She doesn’t know me but I feel better knowing she is being well cared for.
