Good afternoon all.
I'm late today even though I've been up and about for ages.
It's brightening up here in South Yorkshire, and, dare I say it? - There's some sun shine!!?
Just having a coffee break, then it's on with weighing out the fruits for the Christmas pudding so they can wallow in the stout overnight as the recipe instructs.
Hope you continue to get relief from your toothache gagagran and that you won't need that surgery.
Enjoy the rest of the day everyone. ?

Good morning from a dreary grey southeast it looks a bit wet on the ground, hoping to do a Bushy Park walk but don't want to get wet feet.]

I've just cleared out a load of books to take to our local charity shop, my gd has now appropriated one of our bedrooms, so they have mainly come from there and I'm filling the vacant shelves with the children's books we kept.
Otherwise we've not a lot planned, a bit of ironing and a curry with Strictly.

A late good Morning everyone from a dull but dry Black Country, didn't wake till 9am!

Good morning annie hope you are well.

Looking forward to this evening when we are going to see a performance of 'The Broken Truce', written especially for the 100 years anniversary of the end of WW1, by a member of the Stourbridge Theatre Company. So looking forward to that, then we will go for a curry afterwards.

Thinking of Anne today flowers

Wishing you all a very pleasant Saturday.

Good morning everyone from dark grey Leicestershire. Staying in this morning but popping up to see my mum in the care home this afternoon. She doesn’t know me but I feel better knowing she is being well cared for.

NfkDumpling Sat 24-Nov-18 08:35:47

Close posts Ann. It’s a shame your family couldn’t have stayed a bit longer, but did you say they’ve left you the dog to cuddle?

Brunette10 Sat 24-Nov-18 08:32:49

Morning All

Another still, grey day in the north of Norfolk.

Awake last night with cramps, pins and needles and very cold feet, I had that two o’clock worry in my brain as to whether it was dangerous side effects of the recently prescribed statins or just that my hot water bottle had fallen out of the bed!

I’m out today with DD2 and DGD2 to have lunch and see the Nutcracker ballet in Norwich. And do a lot of shopping.

annsixty Sat 24-Nov-18 08:24:18

Good morning all.
Not so cold here but dull.
Family leaving today, I am going to see H, I hope he is not wanting to go home.
Sorry about the tooth episode Gaga it sounds like you suffered, I hope it settles down with no further work needed.
Enjoy your days out everyone who is travelling?
I now have the challenge of shopping and cooking for one, life is never still.

Good morning all. Grey and damp in East Northants. Yesterday was grey all day and it was lights on and curtains drawn at 3.30 pm! I do miss the sun. I think it will be a quiet day pottering indoors for me. I hope it's a pleasant one for everyone.

Nana3 Sat 24-Nov-18 08:21:47

Good morning everyone from a very wet Essex by the sea. We will pop into town to get a few bits then going to a school Christmas Fair this afternoon.
Gaga glad your tooth is feeling better today, root canal work is no fun.
Hope you all have a pleasant Saturday.

Good morning all from a damp and grey start to the day here in Letchworth. Poor Gagagran what we have to endure once in that backward tilting chair!!!! So glad the pain is now gone just a little tenderness remains.

Meeting my sister this morning for cofffee and a catch up as we havent seen each other for two weeks which is unheard of for us. She has been so busy at work picking up extra hours due to shortage of staff and christmas orders. Then last weekend she was away with her bowling friends for a long weekend, so lots to chat about this morning. Then later i will meet her again with my niece for the big Christmas light switch on in our 'little town of Letchworth' have a great day everyone and those in pain or distress i hope you get some relief.

Good morning all, I haven't a clue what the weather is like, still in bed with DGD lying snoring beside me and I' afraid to move in case I wake her up. This is unusual for both of us, as we are usually up at the crack of dawn.
It's a lovely feeling having this wee hot water bottle cosying up to me.
Gaga, glad you are getting some relief.
Mick, I love a rake around a flea market.
For those spending the day with grandchildren enjoy, for those under the weather, I hope you feel better soon.
Another day in the house for me,
Happy Saturday everyone.

Morning Mick, Morning All from a grey and dampish corner of Somerset. Ouch gaga, definitely a rest due today, take it easy, Sorry you’re also having problems nankate, t-day in three weeks for me, flipping nuisance are teeth. Friend staying for the weekend so a need to stir myself. Fortunately she’s not an early bird and is an undemanding guest. Hope Saturday is kind to everyone.

NanKate Sat 24-Nov-18 07:40:09

Morning Mick and All.

Grey, damp and cold in South Bucks.

Spending morning making a ton of spaghetti Bol for next weekend for DS and DGSs and us. I have DH on onion and garlic chopping, mushroom slicing etc he’s a great sous chef.

Gaga I think I will have my tooth out as dentist said my canals are hard to see. She said the tooth was dying, I felt about 100 ?

Low level coughing now fortunately.

EllanVannin Sat 24-Nov-18 07:39:34

Good morning All x
Not one of my best nights as I had a niggling kidney pain and was up a few times in the night. If anything's going to go wrong you can guarantee it'll be at the weekend.
Got washing to do today as it's supposed to be fine, though I can't see the washing drying very much outside in this weather but it'll be fresh.
Doing Fennel's pork and apple casserole recipe today so will have and enjoy that later on with mashed potatoes.

Hope all's well with everyone.

Grammaretto Sat 24-Nov-18 07:35:11

Good morning from still dark Scottish borders where it doesn't seem quite as cold as yesterday.
I'll be busy doing teas today for a craft fair.
I'm glad your pain has gone gagagran.
