Good morning all! Staying in London with son at the mo. Home today. We cycled to Kew Gardens yesterday . Never been before. Amazing plants! Have a good Saturday all of you

It feels a bit cooler here on the south coast but we are promised a sunny day befre the chill really sets in tomorrow.

DH is out with the bike club today and I am determined to start on a mega-tidy in the study. We have a wall of shelving which just looks a scruffy mess and I am a neat-freak so it bothers me!

Hope the day is a good one for us all.

Morning, folks! I've been awake for hours. Tea and reading in bed didn't make me nod off again so I got up and made some cookies. Scoffing some now. Once it's light enough I've garden jobs to be getting on with. I might need an afternoon nap today.

Morning Mick, Morning All. Dark still in our corner of Somerset, dry at the moment, feels chilly. Batch cooking planned for today in preparation for a 10 day visitor invasion. Wish the freezer was bigger but will squeeze the prepared meals in somehow. Always do . Hope Saturday is kind to everyone.

Morning all! North Leicestershire is a bit samp this morning but not too cold!

Lunch and shopping with DGD1 today for her birthday and then collecting her brother and having them both overnight. Cooking is on the agenda, I think.

Good morning everyone. Looking chilly and damp again in Northampton this morning.
DD and DSil coming this morning so that DSil can fit a new outside light over back door. Then we are all off to the rugby to watch Northampton Saints play Wasps; think I will be putting thermals on today! DD and her husband have got season tickets next to me, which is nice company.
Making a hotpot to go in the slow cooker while we are at the game.
When I get back will be putting fruit to soak in brandy ready to make Christmas cake tomorrow.

Good morning everyone from a bright Essex by the sea. The sun is just starting to appear. Nothing much planned for today apart from a bit of Christmas shopping. Most of it done, lots of parcels to come from A****n in the next week. Happy day to all.

Good morning from Devon. Like Baggs I've been up for hours, so now I know the milkman actually delivers my milk before 6am.
Today I'm going to a Women's Breakfast at 8.30am, then I'm going to be scouring the town for furniture etc. for one of my homeless clients that got housed yesterday, and finally I'm off to visit my daughter and her family for an overnight stay. (Her 7 month old baby has been really struggling with asthma and I want to see for myself that he's okay.)

I'll maybe need a little nap sometime today I think.

Good morning all from Glasgow. I don't know what it's like outside, but it's rather chilly in here. DH has been messing with the heating. Brrrrr!
Bits and pieces to do and helping a friend with some alterations.
I'm expecting a visit from DD and her fiance , who are kindly going across town for my prescriptions and DS2, who has a large pile of parcels here. My porch is like a sorting office! We even have a parcel where my son had written half of his own address (in another town) and our post code. . Our postman heard the sorters trying to work out where to send it realised right away it was my son's and delivered it here. Now that's service for you.

My new dentist sorted out the dull ache in my back tooth. It’s curtains for that tooth ?either root canal and then a crown or removal and an implant! I need to start saving IMMEDIATELY.

grannyactivist, that is so worrying when a baby has asthma. My son was born wheezing and now my wee granddaughter is the same. I hope the baby is OK.
If only we had lived in the same town, I could have given you furniture, as we are clearing out DD's flat.

Oh Kate, what an expensive business! I had a crown replaced last year and needed to take out a mortgage to pay for it. I hope you get some relief soon.

Good Morning from a damp and drizzly Black Country

Staying at DD's this weekend whilst they are off to Dublin for an early celebration with friends for her 40th!

I had a very exuberant welcome from the Labrador....he just wanted his breakfast!

Going to take them to the Cinema this morning, then to Mum's later this afternoon, where we will have a pub meal about 5pm.

Ooooh NanKate I know an implant is upwards of £1000! Hope you can go for the cheaper option of the Crown.

Good morning all from a dry but chilly East Northants. I've also been awake for hours, listening to a play on the radio about Somerset Maugham. Today I'll be sorting out a drawer of nightwear for charity, making room for the new pyjamas I bought yesterday. (and yet another bag!) Plus catching up with recordings and jigsaw. Hope its a pleasant one for everyone!

I would go for a crown Mary but the dentist warned the root canals look very faint so they may in the end have to take it out anyway. Decisions, decisions. Her colleague performed an implant for me a couple of years ago and it has been brilliant but so very expensive.

Very grey Novembrish weather here in N Bucks, I too plan a tidying, sorting day with a couple of deliveries due I am sort of stuck in so I hope to make good use of the time.

Morning everyone from a dark and damp Fife. Not much going on today. May go over to the city for a browse if DH feels up to it. If not will busy myself in the house could do some cooking for freezer. It seems that everyone is having a quietish day today. Hope all are well, for those not feeling 100% take care.

Yes NannyJan in fact my last one was £2,000 + plus but it looks so good. I suggested just having it out but she said that would affect the tooth above. Anyway enough about my tooth and back to everyone’s plans for the day.
