Good morning Mick and everyone x

Pleased you had a nice weekend.

Still dark in SE Essex (haven't opened curtains yet so no idea of weather)

Busy day ahead we are having to clear the kitchen for decorating and repairs today, they want to start tomorrow!!!

Hopefully all should be finished by end of November.

Have a good Tuesday folks x

Morning Mick and welcome back. Suspected you would have wind and rain from the forecast.
Morning GrannyG and everyone to follow!

The sky is clear and I think we are promised a nice day here on the south coast.

I have to collect some click and collect orders this morning, including paint for the hall and stairs. Fred the decorator is due on 3 December. I have decided on a sage green feature wall and the rest of it white. At the moment is nondescript magnolia. I am on the look out for a large mirror too.

Hope the day is a good one for us all. sunshine

Good Morning, still dark here and not looked outside.

Off to take Partner to train station shortly.

Sounds like a very interesting weekend Mick, I used to love Brixham, but have not been for quite a while.

Today I am taking back two items that I had delivered from Debenhams. Ordered three, so 1 outa 3 ain't bad grin

Then gym later, and ironing this afternoon.

Good luck with the kitchen GrannyGravy we are having a makeover of ours after Christmas, new doors, tiles, flooring!

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning from the NE coast. You seem to have had a very full weekend Mick smile

Much the same as every day for me. School runs then that place . I’ve got a really bad back at the minute so haven’t had much rest .

Enjoy Tuesday everyone x

Good morning all from a dry and windy Suffolk coast. The sea is quite choppy but at least the mist has gone.

Sounds like a great break Mick.

Have a good day everyone!

Morning Mick, Morning All. Sounds a busy break, mick, pleased you enjoyed it. Damp and draughty in our corner of Somerset. Medical day today. GP first thing then hospital this afternoon. Careful with your back gilly,, major pain when they go wrong. Hope Tuesday is kind to everyone.

millymouge Tue 13-Nov-18 07:12:26

Good morning everyone from a mild Essex. Clear sky outside so looks like a nice day. Shall take advantage of the weather and get some washing out to dry. Have a good day everyone.

Blue45Sapphire Tue 13-Nov-18 07:13:57

Good morning all from Northampton; looks damp out.
Glad you had a nice weekend, Mick. It's good to have a change of scenery.
Had a lovely evening at DGD 's birthday meal. She was mightily pleased with her presents, and the food was good, ( as was the wine!)
Off to club this morning, where the speaker is giving a talk about alpacas; it sounds as though she runs an alpaca trekking farm, wonder if she'll bring one in?
DS coming down this afternoon to look through LPs and old computer games before I get rid of them.
Off to see DGD this evening in a children's production of Macbeth - I understand she is playing the lead!
Have a nice day everyone.

Good Morning all and to those who follow. Quite dark here in Fife just now but looks very damp out. Have a busy day today as many of you, taking DH's car into car first thing then meeting friend for coffee/catch up. Shopping in afternoon. Sounds as if you had a great time away Mick, why do other people's holidays sound so exciting? Hope you all have a pleasant day. Enjoy!

NfkDumpling Tue 13-Nov-18 07:31:31

Morning All

It looks as if we’re going to have another lovely day. It was 18C in our front garden when we left yesterday for the coast. 14 though in Cromer! Posh fish and chips and a walk on the pier. Lovely.

Catch up day today and tea with an old friend this afternoon.

I’ve been looking at the horrendous fires in California. It seems an annual occurrence now. You seem to be surrounded Artols. Hopefully they’ll keep their distance and die down soon.

Ashcombe Tue 13-Nov-18 07:46:29

Gosh, Mick! Your bus journey, on the good old number 12, would have included quite a few pubs! I live in Torquay and enjoy our excellent bus service.
At present, I’m in France as OH was 70 yesterday. We celebrated on Sunday with English friends who run a B & B at a château.

Good morning all from a clear, crisp and sunny morning here in N Bucks. Glad your weekend was so enjoyable Mick
Do you use a local company for these “jollies”?
Today is DGS2’s 7th birthday - oh the excitement of birthdays when you are little.
Wishing you all a pleasant day!

Marydoll Tue 13-Nov-18 08:01:35

Good morning all, it looks like we have had heavy rain overnight.
It sounds as if you have had a good trip, Mick.
Busy day for me today also. I have a hairdresser's appointment and then hospital this afternoon, not the most pleasant of appointments, as I know from past experience. ? At least my hair will look good! grin
I may get a peek at the shops. Parking is so bad, we will leave the car at a big shopping centre and jump on the bus.
Gilly look after yourself!
Have a pleasant day, everyone.

Greyduster Tue 13-Nov-18 08:17:34

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Glad you enjoyed your break, Mick - a long time since I went in a good pub crawl. It was a real ale trail! The sun is shining in South Yorkshire and we are hoping to walk today. I am taking my new camera for its first outside outing. Still getting to grips with it. Gaga we had sage green walls in our last living room, with a cream frieze. It was very restful. Have a good day, folks.

harrigran Tue 13-Nov-18 08:21:59

Good morning, it is overcast this morning and damp out.
DH has a hospital appointment at nine so has been up and about for a while. I am feeling sore and achy from my cupboard sorting yesterday but did remove three large sacks of unwanted things.

EllanVannin Tue 13-Nov-18 08:27:48

Good morning All x
A lovely bright sunny day in the offing today so washing on the agenda. Shopping is a must as I need a " giant " tub of Lurpak because I cook and bake with it as well as daubing it on my crumpets ( breakfast )
Like you travelsafar the Christmas mood isn't yet upon me it's all about making that initial effort and for me it's getting the " special " cards out of the way first. The rest will hopefully follow.

ninathenana Tue 13-Nov-18 08:33:46

Morning everyone.

Sunny day here in Kent.
Late today after a lousy night due to DD sharing her cold. I'm still in bed but need to get in the shower now as meeting a friend later.
Have a good day everyone

Pittcity Tue 13-Nov-18 08:33:50

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Not a cloud in the sky and it's not cold either.
Ironing and shopping are must do's today.

Auntieflo Tue 13-Nov-18 09:03:38

Morning Mick, welcome back. Morning Annie, to come and all who follow.
Bright, clear blue sky, so may be chilly when I poke my nose outside. Early appointment this morning, then after today, only 3 more to go. Hurrah.
Going to have a coffee later, and pick up some jeans from a friend who needs them to be shortened. Then on to my volunteering afternoon. I do enjoy that so much. Lovely group of people that I “work” ??? with.
My knitting is coming along, and not too much to do now.
Have a good day one and all.

Anniebach Tue 13-Nov-18 09:21:45

Heavy rain last night in E Sussex, sun is now shining, the fields/woods behind us look amazing with all the autumnal colours. Off out to take elderly Mum to see my younger bro who is recovering well from both throat cancer and a heart attack, he is a walking miracle ! So very thankful for that.
