Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark , but its trying to rain here in brackley this morning.
break in paington was good absorbing xmas and new year into a weekend in the hotel.
Did my own little trip on a local bus service which runs between Newton Abbott and Brixham as a pub crawl doing good beer guide pubs .
on the Sunday, coach trip to Plymouth , just got to the Hoe to see tail end of the remembrance service then went down the barbican area , before heading back to coach pick up point, weather wise it was wet and windy.

Good morning everyone.

It sounds as if you had a lovely time mick - when's the next one? ?I don't blame you for doing it in the slightest, enjoy yourself and do it while you can.

It's sunny but cool here this morning.

Need to attack all the leaves that are falling off the magnolia today and put them in the compost heap. They have been green for a long time this season, but all of a sudden became yellow in this last week or so and are now falling off the tree in droves. It will keep me busy for a few days.

Hope you all have an enjoyable day whatever you are doing. ?

Morning all, from a gloriously sunny and mild Aberdeenshire. Not a cloud in the sky and blazing sunshine. My lovely friend has whizzed through the house and now all is clean and tidy. She brings her dog, (pug) and I have had a happy hour entertaining him in the garden.

Well, good afternoon to you Mick from here in the East Midlands. It's bright and warm which is just as well as the boiler's on the blink. Plumber coming tomorrow afternoon to fit two new parts.
If my dear late husband was still alive he'd say to me whenever there's a mention of Plymouth - 'You were sick on the Hoe!'
After a long train journey (bad traveller with migraine) and one tiny mouthful of my favourite fish'n'chips the inevitable happened. In modern parlance I 'parked a custard' - oh dear. I can laugh now but it wasn't funny at the time.

Good Morning (Afternoon) from a very smoky California. I’m watching the news and see that the fires are still blazing. Looking out of the window it looks as bad as ever. As I previously said however, we are far enough away to be safe, but it is frightening nevertheless, as the entire state is so tinder dry.

Late as usual. Good evening from Portugal. 5.45am saw us leaving Peterborough after celebrating DS's 50th birthday at the weekend. The sun came up as we headed down the M1 then on to the M25 and finally M23 to Gatwick. The plane departed early and arrived in Porto even earlier than scheduled. Clear skies all the way so had some great views out of the window. Now it's bedtime as it has been a long day and this is when we realise we arent young anymore and travelling is tiring. Night all.
