Who is Your Alter Ego?

I have been called Hyacinth Bouquet by OH who thinks I am a fuss pot. (When merely reminding him to leave the loo seat down!)

Day6 - I am often referred to as Hyacinth Bouquet by H and friends, nice to know I am not the only one.

Please do not get me started on the lavatory seat!!!

My ACs refer to DH and I as Howard and Hilda ( from Ever Decreasing Circles) We don't think we are like them, but who knows?

At work once I said I thought I was Victoria Wood and a colleague said ‘Oh no, you’re more like Mary Poppins.”

I hope this refererred to my ability to get things done and not to a general level of bossiness!

If anyone annoys me I tend to go all 'Margot Leadbetter' from the good life.

But in real life I'm a lot more Felicity Kendall in welly boots and holey jumpers.

In my head I'm Marilyn Monroe. In reality I'm Calamity Jane. Someone once said to me 'oh dear, if it's going to happen, it's going to happen to you isn't it?'

I can relate to that KatyK I would like to be Victoria Stillwell, in reality I am more Frank Spencer.

My boss calls me Hetty Wainthrop. I can see what he means.

My last boss called me his "Indiana Jones" as I was always getting him out of trouble and sticking up for him in meetings . He was a very weak man so someone had to do it.
