Things you have to thank GN for.

I'm grateful for the advice too trisher and the fun, friendship and support. Also for phoenix's spell - it didn't work and, unfortunately, the Idiot is still with us but it made me laugh!!

But will say again as it has helped considerably with my lack of baking skills

For Baking bread in a slow-cooker. ?

GN has given me a lot of laughs, a few tears, an occasional strop, many great books and two lovely competition prizes.

Oh, and that fabulous horse shampoo that a GNer once recommended. I was very sceptical, but it’s good stuff!

It has given me a good friend. What more can one ask for!

I have many interests but Gransnet is an added one.

Perhaps I flatter myself but I like to think I help people with some of my posts. I sometimes worry people might think I'm trying to boss them about but that is not my intention.

I enjoy the surveys and competitions.

A variety of good books and the opportunity to meet up with some lovely people.

It also introduced me to spa days when I won a mother and daughter day at a wonderful spa near Newark.

Also an always available excuse for procrastination ( like now)

For helping me to bite my tongue and keep my big mouth shut when I am tempted to say too much and make matters worse and much more.

I never thought I would make new friends at my age ,
but I have made some lovely friends on GN.

For being my sole companion

I am thankful to GN knowing that I have more interesting things to read here than on FaceBook!
I also know that if I ever have an insurmountable problem, I will be able to get kind and helpful advice from all of you lovely Grans. ???
