Morning Mick and everyone

The sun is trying to break through the clouds here on the south coast and we are not forecast to have rain so a reasonable day in store.

Hope the day is a good one for us all. sunshine

NanKate Sun 19-Aug-18 07:44:49

Morning Mick Gaga and All.

Cloudy but warming up in South Bucks.

You can tell it is Sunday as our time clocks seem to be set later.

Pork steaks with veg and apple sauce today followed by M and S Eve’s pudding on the menu today.

Auntieflo Sun 19-Aug-18 07:46:57

Good morning Mick, Gagagran, Annie to come, and all who follow. Oh my, I am really early for me. Is everyone having a lie-in? My tea hasn't yet arrived, but I can hear sounds downstairs. It's grey , but dry here. Nothing planned after Church this morning. Have a good day everyone.

Good Morning to all. It is a horrible dank, dismal day here in NE Fife a day for the house I reckon. Won't be a quiet one though have our DGS again today. Reckon it will be quite a long day but it'll be fun hopefully. Hope everyone has a quiet, relaxing Sunday - enjoy!

Marydoll Sun 19-Aug-18 07:52:33

Good morning Mick, Gaga and Nankate.

Raining at the moment, but due to brighten up at 10 am (I hope!)

I'm on my way out for the papers (my turn!) and then off to church.

Nankate I plan to make Eton Mess for dessert, with my own take on it, the addition of raspberries and raspberry liqueur. I have to be careful, as I could eat the whole dish of it in one sitting. grin.

Nankate, as usual we are in synch with our timings. smile.
Have a pleasant Sunday, all.

Marydoll Sun 19-Aug-18 07:52:59

Brunette morning, grin

Good morning, grey and damp after overnight rain. It looks autumnal but actually the temperature is quite high.
A quiet day with the newspaper beckons.

Good morning all from an overcast but warm North Leicestershire.

DD and Co are leaving this morning and taking one of the kittens with them. The kitten is going to her friend so we will get regular reports!

Roast pork fir lunch and then lots of peaceful sitting down.

Good morning from a grey skied Colchester. Breezy but still warm.
Hope it stays dry as I have washing to put out. Ironing today and roast pork here too!

Greyduster Sun 19-Aug-18 08:44:01

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Grey, breezy and cold in South Yorkshire. There are muttering about going for a walk, but I hope they are only mutterings. I don’t feel like it today. Roast chicken for lunch. Have a good day, folks.

Alypoole Sun 19-Aug-18 08:57:37

Grey and drizzly in South Wales. Up to do some ironing soon and looking forward to seeing my daughter later as she is home from a 17 day cruise. Busy week next week. WI trip tomorrow and then off to Dartmouth for a few days.

NannyJan53 Sun 19-Aug-18 09:00:54

Good Morning from a dull but still warm Black Country.

We had a BBQ last night (Makerel), and sat outside until 10pm! Maybe the last chance this summer?

No real plans today, so just go with the flow. Maybe a cycle ride this afternoon.

Happy Sunday everyone.

cornergran Sun 19-Aug-18 09:02:40

Morning Mick. Morning All. Grey start in our corner of Somerset. Little enthusiasm today so a quiet one ahead. Hope Sunday is kind to everyone.

MawBroon Sun 19-Aug-18 09:07:43

Good morning. Grey and oddly windy here in N Bucks.
Bad night so won’t be doing much today.
Wishing you all a pleasant day.

gillybob Sun 19-Aug-18 09:10:15

A late Good morning from a very cloudy grey NE coast. Still quite warm though.

No plans for today except to cook and eat dinner as some point, do a bit of housework, maybe have a little walk along the seafront.

Have a good Sunday everyone. x

Ormond56 Sun 19-Aug-18 09:11:02

Good morning all. I'm still enjoying some sunshine in Lancashire, yesterday afternoon at the Southport Flower Show was glorious.
Stay at home day today.
Enjoy your Sunday everyone.

A late Good morning to you all.
Dull and drizzling in Buxton. We are off to Lyme House (NT) this morning and will then do some exploring around the area. Dinner out this evening.
Hope some of you find some sunshine !

lemongrove Sun 19-Aug-18 10:22:44

Good morning to all.Having a lazy Sunday here with cooked brekkie, coffee and the papers ( sent DH off for themgrin as a treat for us, as we don’t usually read them.)
Grey, very windy but dry here for the day, so may go for a long walk by the river later on.

travelsafar Sun 19-Aug-18 10:29:22

Morning all, grey and cloudy here in Letchworth at the moment.
Up bright and washing on the line. Plants watered and overnight my tomatoes have started to turn colour, ALL at the same time!!!! lol.
Really hoping 'the sun puts his hat on' a bit later as we have our funday at the bowls club this afternoon, about 50 people turning up.
I have been busy cutting up carrots, celery, peppers and cucumber for crudites to go with dips. Out in a while to help set up tables, chairs, gazebo etc for the afternoon and to set out the food for the buffet. We have ordered everything this year from our local supermarket (apart from the crudities) instead of the usual of those attending bringing a plate. We use to end up with lots of cakes and hardly any savouries. Praying we the committee have done the right thing this year. smile

MiniMoon Sun 19-Aug-18 10:34:25

Good morning all.
Rather drizzly in my corner of Northumberland. DS is coming for lunch, as he does every Sunday, so we are having roast beef etc. I went to pick up my new spectacles yesterday. It hasn't taken very long to get used to them. Quite an improvement, and just in time for my holidays.
